South Korea.

First constructed in 1395, later burned and then abandoned

for three centuries, reconstructed in 1867, then destroyed by

Imperial Japan in the early 20th century, Gyeongbokgung was

the largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty. It has been slowly

restored back to its original form.
