18-19-20 October Napoli hosted a G7 Defence meeting in the Palazzo Reale di Napoli, which is in city centre. A whole lot of police and commandos with machine guns on the streets. Police trucks would come in and block all traffic from all sides. You couldn't go anywhere for an hour.

Morgen bis Mittwoch findet der G7 Gipfel in Lübeck statt. Der Sicherheitsbereich beginnt am Ende meiner Straße. Nach den Krawallen in Frankfurt ist man in der Großstadt Lübeck aufgeregt bis panisch. Ich bin zumindest gespannt.

Leather Necklace 6 mm (2.36 ") with close-plated silver. The leather can be in pearl, brown or black.
The piece is bathed in silver metal with strass.

La pieza es de metal bañada en plata y con un strass.

Turid Eng (b. 1937) - Heptakord (1984). This sculpture was designed in response to a public competition launched in 1977 for the decoration of the space in front of the then newly opened Oslo Concert Hall. Turid Eng, one of the winners, came up with the concept of a group of seven singers which she called Heptachord - a scale of seven notes.
眠れない深夜、数年前より故障して使えないPowerShot G7の分解を行う。
G7とG9には構造的な欠陥を抱えていて、
一部特定の内部ビスが抜け落ちて、内部基板に接触してショートし、
カメラ基板そのものの交換修理が必要となります。
しかもこれが有償修理だったりして、12,075円もします。
仮に修理しても再発の恐れあり、欠陥といって差し支えないんじゃなかろうか。
案の定、分解したら中からビスがコロっと出てきやがりました。
一説にはショートした際に保護回路が働くので、
保護回路を迂回して結線すれば動く場合もあるようですが、
私のG7ではダメでしたね。
数年カメラ保管庫で眠っていましたが、これで廃棄確定です。
（修理するよる中古買ったほうが安いんですもの）
