The freight version of the 146 was launched amid great fanfare when TNT ordered a huge number of 'Quiet Traders' that would be operated by a number of airlines around Europe, with Air Foyle getting the gig in the UK.

Once the hype died down, I'm not sure that the full order was eventually delivered, but the 146QTs that were delivered gave sterling service, flying round Europe for many years. Here G-TNTE is arriving at Luton from Dublin (UPA409) on a rare daytime flight.
