Just found this pic taken a couple of years ago, my dear old FXDX, gleaming in front of a steam locomotive. This bike was sadly lost in an accident December 2015.
In the past couple of months, I feel as though I have really struggled with my photography and with my life. It is time to claw my way out of this ditch and to rediscover the magic in this world. I have decided to embark on a "dedication series" using my flickr contacts as a source of inspiration to take my photography into the art form I wish it to be. In no particular order or preference this series will be inspired by the amazing people I have met here on flickr.
This particular image is dedicated to fxdx
Philippe is a pure naturalist at heart. I cannot remember how I became a contact with Philippe but his water drop and ice images always make me smile, His macro work is truly delightful as are his travel archive shots. His underwater photos earlier this year from the Maldives made me just want to go snorkeling in warm tropical waters. Thank you, Philippe for being a wonderfully inspirational photographer.

My FXDX Super Glide and Oxfordshire country road, Uffington Iron Age hill fort and White Horse Hill in background - which is where I was headed.

Year 2000 model, twin cam engine, now fitted with S&S Super E carb, forward controls, mini apes and almost perfect in my eyes. Just need to get a black battery cover now.
