Jōren Falls (浄蓮の滝 Jōren-no-taki?) is a waterfall in the Yugashima district of Izu city, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, in central Izu Peninsula on the upper reaches of the Kano River. It is a Shizuoka Prefectural Natural Monument. It is one of "Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls", in a listing published by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment in 1990.

According to Japanese folklore, this is home to the legendary mistress of the Jōren Falls, Jorōgumo; a spider that can transform into a seductive woman.

I figured i'd give mobile uploading to Flickr a try, even though i'm quite sad that I don't have the same neat photo apps that iphone users have. I just want Instagram!

Palace of Fine Arts is one of the most historically critical buildings in San Francisco, located in Marina District near Presidio. The historic rotunda is lit beautifully with traditional light source high pressure sodium floodlights, and the contrast with the blue sky was astonishing that day although it started out to be another foggy day in San Francisco.
