Marie Laforêt-Vendades de L´amour
La iglesia de San Juan esta declarada Monumento Histórico.
Fue construida en el siglo XIII con reformas en 1700. Destaca en el lado de la Evangelio su retablo barroco del s. XVIII. En el de la EpÃstola otro barroco s. XVII, y retablo rococó del tercer cuarto del s. XVIII. También una pila bautismal gallonada del s. XVI.
Importante es su artesanado mudéjar. El Órgano realizado por José Ortorel en 1848, sele han realizado varias restauraciones.
Estas son algunas de las varias obras artÃsticas que posee.
EL Museo del Canal de Castilla se encuentra en la población de Villaumbrales, en el se puede ver una amplia información de su historia, acompañada de una interesante colección de Maquetas de los distintos modelos de embarcaciones que navegaban por el Canal .

I had never been to FWF in the summer or with this little water. It still makes a good pic with low flow. Luckily, the swimmers that were enjoying the water hole are now just out of camera view eating lunch.
I normally don't get out waterfalling this time of year but the 70's and 80's we've had this week for hi temps just made it too tempting to get out.

The 1966-69 Mk.III received a detuned in line version of the Mini-Cooper S 1275cc engine with an output of 65bhp.
The Mk.IV carried over the same mechanical specification, but cosmetic changes include a new black grille, black sills and windscreen surround, and Rostyle wheels but with optional wires. The rear wheel arches were given a more square profile from 1970 and then rounded of in 1972 along with improved heating, boot and interior lights, a bigger fuel tank and collapsible steering columns From 1974 although still called the Mk.IV large black plastic front bumpers were added and ride height increased to meet the US safety regulations and the Spitfire 1500cc engine was added again to compensate for US emission regulations

The LF-76 was designed by VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden in the early seventies to meet a requirement by the military for a long-range freighter capable of STOL on unprepared surfaces. The combination of a high-lift wing, powerful engines, and high-flotation landing gear with 20 wheels give the LF-76 exceptional capabilities in the field (as in: actual fields). Following earlier traditions, the glazed nose for the navigator provides excellent view for landings, and a gunner position was also incorporated into the tail, fitted with two 23mm cannons.
A double-decked 250-passenger airliner was on the drawing board, but this was scrapped before any prototype was built. Other variants were built for the military, which include an aerial tanker capable of refuelling three planes at once, the TF-78, and an AEW&C version known as the FWF-76.
Civilian interest was high, as the freighter provides a way to transport ramp-delivered cargo, especially outsized or heavy items that don’t fit in more traditional freighters, and it can do so to remote areas. A significant number is in service with the national airline of the Dessauer Demokratische Republik, Interflug, although these can all be pressed into military service when needed due to the company’s status of being government owned. The largest fleet is operated by Aeroblyat, the well-known international Slavic airline.
A micro version of the Ilyushin Il-76, Il-78, and the Beriev A-50, with some creative liberties taken due to scale limitations.
