Apr 2016 during the Whitby Goth Weekend (WGW), which is a Goth & alternative music festival held every 6 months in Whitby (Yorkshire, England, UK).
This shot was taken while Fuzzbox performed live at the Spa.
Thought I'd have a go at making some facets.
For the time it took (ages), the end result was a bit boring.
But then I whilst I waited an entire afternoon waiting for my hair to dry, I let my imagination run wild, and played with some distorting........

Blame her. This band was interesting though despite the shonkey sound. She can sing like an angel if she wants.

circuit board with components painted brown - I suspect it's a direct copy of the Maestro Fuzztone. it sounds very similar, and these look like RCA 2N270 transistors
Inspired by Jack White (White Stripes, The Raconteurs) on the It Might Get Loud documentary, Kim banged together this 'slide guitar'.
All you need is: A plank of wood; 2 nails; a guitar string; a pickup; a glass bottle and a slide.
And plug it into a mini amp if you want it amplified nice and loud (it's through a Big Muff fuzzbox first).

The Sundae Overdrive pedal by Concord LLC. Available soon. This is a reference graphic for the manufacturer printing the fascia sticker.
Concord LLC wanted something non-typical for a fuzzbox - i.e. not handpainted like Z Vex and not super-tight graphically like EH etc. The plan to print on a full colour gloss sticker made it possible to use lots of colours; ideal for ice cream...
Decided to butcher it after years.... I've put an LED and a power socket on
it too. I feel a bit dirty but it's going to get used loads more because of
it

I am a sound wave. One time, I was thrown into a Fuzzbox, where everything shattered into a thousand pieces. I was brought to a house where I was cloned, my duplicates scattered, electric. I watched from afar as they dashed towards repeating landscapes. But I couldn’t stop. I managed to scramble through a tiny opening which turned into a madcap ride through a Whammy. As I still wasn’t satisfied, I journeyed on to find a wha-wha, an overdrive, a phaser, a voltaren and a hairless mare. Intoxicated and debauched, just when I thought nothing else could happen, they clustered me up with my prostituted alter egos. Deformed and mutated, we were all compressed into a tiny space and spat into your world through the end of a trumpet, and now Chupaconcha is blowing your mind.
Sweat, psychedelia, brawn, strobe, lows and highs. If there’s one thing that defines the name Furious Sessions, Chupaconcha is it. Two extraterrestrial Italians who escaped from the mad house and took refuge in the wrong side of the Sants neighbourhood. This session affords us a glimpse of this madness expressed in high-pitched sounds and infinite rhythms. Giuliano and Giorgio, in partnership with Danger Hill, have infected half the continent with their musical insanity. Pretty soon we’ll all need straightjackets to keep from tumbling to the rhythm of Chupaconcha.
So, take a deep breath and keep granddad’s pills handy. You’re gonna need them.
