Brouilla is a small village about 15kms south of Perpignan. The "Église Sainte-Marie" in the center of Brouilla, was erected within the 12th century. The structure has this extraordenary southern portal, that obviously was carved by the same workshop, working in Serrabonne and Villefranche-de-Conflent. The white marble used comes from Ceres.
This is the left capital, depicting four griffons (the center-couple shares one head), hearded by two humanoid figures left and right. This kind of griffons can often be found in the Roussilion area, but nowhere the creator used the stone-driller that extensively. "I’ve got a driller and I´m going to use it.." - a song "recreated" by the Fuzzbox in the 1980s. A flashback. A little tribute. Really off topic.

Jo Dunne, former guitarist of “We’ve got a …FUZZBOX… and we’re gonna use it!!” died of cancer on Friday 26th October 2012, just 43.

For the time it took (ages), the end result was a bit boring.
But then I whilst I waited an entire afternoon waiting for my hair to dry, I let my imagination run wild, and played with some distorting........

I've been procrastinating about finishing up that Tone Bender MKI because I wasn't looking forward to drilling the holes for the jacks in its steel enclosure, but also because I was afraid the transistors I picked wouldn't work and I'd have to go back to testing and sorting.
Well, I was an idiot, because this thing fired right up and it's insane! It's got an amazing sound. I mean, wow. Freakin' awesome. Well, that's a relief.

My Triumph Herald 13/60 convertible at a concourse show (just before I owned it). Instead of buying a sensible runaround, I thought I'd get this little beauty. Ok, it broke down a fair bit, and it wasn't great to drive, and it nearly killed me, and the roof got slashed...and it cost me £700.
I didn't care. I loved it. Can you imagine how cool it looked with 3 of girl group Fuzzbox in there, top down, shades on, multicoloured hair in the breeze, belting through the Worcestireshire countryside. That's why God gives us the folly of youth, for moments like that.
It was the most I paid for a car until I bought Truckasaurus 3 years ago.
Thought I'd have a go at making some facets.
