Used a ton of apps with this one...most notably Litho, which is cool, but slow, and the interface has some flaws; and PhotoCandy, which...is...AMAZING. I used PhotoCandy on the photo on the right. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

was supposed to be a quick placeholder image, have been cursed with mega OCD + everything that can go wrong, will go wrong with any electronic device i touch at the moment + glitching is just way too much fucking fun even if it doesn't produce pictures of necessarily high quality or beauty to m/any other people besides myself

Arachne is black and white and shades of gray and tinges of muted colors at best so while the presence of vibrance might be out of character, she still might be the kind of of character you'd see after waking up at 4am because the TV turned itself on...

apps - fragment, glitchè, photoshop, pixlr express+

Seen in my apartment building's hallway last Friday.

My son collects brass/copper/crap and polishes it! He may not ALWAYS do this so I thought I should highlight it for him to look back on! This is also a challenge for the BPC NSD - multi photo collage. I used the same app Angie Lucas recommended Fuzel. Free and very cool!

Oh and it also qualifies for Lains UIU challenge - rubons and epoxy stickers and gaffer tape AND cardstock all over 5 years old.

A collage of the B&W photographs that I posted from my week-long visit to Adelaide. Please see my Photostream on Flickr for the original posts (links below).

The collage was produced using the Fuzel Collage (Not A Basement Studio JSC). The borders were added using Filterstorm Classic (Tai Shimizu) (B,W,B)=(4,15,4). I used ExifEditor to copy the EXIF data from one of the photographs to the collage.

Fun fact: On the side of the box, it's spelled "zircon", but on the back, it's "zicon" again. Some graphic designer in China is dozing on the job.

Her name is Zicon now.

Compilation of iPhone photos of DC. Let me know if I should upload these photos individually. I couldn't pick just one, so I put them in the same collage.

Heck yes on those brains. I am still perfecting my marzipan recipe.... 🤔

Project closed and I like my final:) But it will be my last mobile photo I will upload at least for a long time..

Technical: iPhone 6 / Apple Camera App, edited with Afterlight, Fuzel Collage, ImageBlender, watermarked by iWatermark

It's really a collage of the view, at an angle, on my iPad from my bedroom into the hall. The two 'eyes' are hanging items in the hall. The rectangle to the right is a collage hanging on the open door....;))

At first the surreal view of an individual photo surprised me, and it took me a while to realize what I was looking at...;)

Fuzel - Collages is a very funny and interesting camera and collage app on the iPhone and iPad. I haven't even begun to explore it.

Some family "snaps" of my parents (Raelene and John Lane) and sister (Rachel Aston - nee Lane).

I smiled to myself when I wrote the above sentence because I wouldn't truthfully describe any of the photographs that I take with my Hasselblad camera as "snaps". The act of taking a photograph is a very measured and deliberate act with this camera. I look at this as a real positive as it provides me with a very relaxed and satisfying experience.

Being indoors and not using any supplementary lighting, the images needed quite a bit of adjustment in Lightroom and photoFXlab (i.e., the wrapper for the TopazLabs apps). This is a consequence of the limited ISO and aperture options in my Hasselblad camera setup. Still, they turned out OK.

Barton, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

Photography notes ...

The centre photograph was taken using the following hardware configuration ...

(Year of manufacture indicated in braces where known.)

- Hasselblad 500C/M body (1994).

- Hasselblad Acute Matte D 42262 Focusing Screen.

- Hasselblad CFV II Digital Back for Hasselblad V mount camera 16MP (2008).

- Hasselblad 45 Degree Viewfinder PME-45 42297 (2001).

- Carl Zeiss - C Planar 80mm f2.8 - Nr 4598852 - Hasselblad - SYNCHRO-CONPUR shutter (1968).

- FotodioX B50 Lens Hood for Select Hasselblad Standard Length C Lenses

- Acquired the photograph with an ISO of 50, exposure time of 1/30 seconds, and aperture of f/2.8.

The 4 other photographs were taken with the following lens and hood combination ...

- Carl Zeiss - Sonnar 150mm f4 C - Nr 5588216 - Hasselblad - SYNCHRO-COMPUR (1972).

- FotodioX B50 Lens Hood for Select Hasselblad Telephoto C Lenses.

- Acquired the photographs with an ISO of 50, exposure time of 1/30 seconds, and aperture of f/4.0.

Post-processing ...

(This sequence was very similar for each of the images in this collage.)

Finder - Removed the CF card from the camera digital back and placed it in a Lexar 25-in-1 USB card reader. Then used Finder on my MacBook Air to download the raw image file (3FR extension) from the card.

Lightroom - Imported the 3FR image. Used the Map module to add the location details to the EXIF header. Applied various adjustments in the Develop module. These included some spot healing corrections to remove the artifacts produced by dust on the camera sensor. Output the image as a JPEG image using the "Maximum" quality option (4080 x 4080 pixels). N.B., I would have liked to apply a geometric correction for the lens distortion, but I have observed that this would compromise the important de-banding process that was performed later in the processing sequence using the Topaz DeNoise plug-in (see below).

photoFXlab - Applied the "Topaz Simplify Dust 3" filter with reduced Structure. Then applied the "Topaz DeNoise JPEG Light" filter with various custom settings, notably additional color (chromatic) noise reduction and de-banding. Added a small amount of grain to produce a more natural background texture. Saved the image as a JPEG image using the "Maximum" quality option. Applied some final lighting adjustments.

PhotoSync - Copied the JPEG file to my iPad Mini for the final processing steps and posting to social media.

Fuzel Collage - Selected the photographs to use. Selected the layout. Swapped various images to get my desired arrangement. Adjusted the thickness of the outer and inner white frames.

ExifEditor - Copied the EXIF data from the Lightroom output of one of the images to the current working image.

Is there anybody in Flickrland with Donner or Vixen that's willing to share with me? :^)

To capture these photograph, I set my iPhone 5s up on a tripod on the street - literally - outside our apartment block. The NightCap iOS app was used to take an "infinite" sequence of full resolution photographs, long exposure shots (~500 x 0.5 second images in this instance). These were some of the resulting captures.

Barton, ACT, Australia.

iPhone 5s - Photographs taken with the camera on an iPhone 5s.

NightCap - Photographs taken using this app as part of an "infinite" time-lapse sequence using the extended ISO setting.

Fuzel - 11 images selected for incorporation into the collage. I shuffled the arrangement several times to obtain this particular arrangement. Changed the aspect ratio to 4:3. Visible portions of the photos were then adjusted by panning and zooming. Output generated to the camera roll (2560 x 1920 pixels).

Filterstorm - Added a series of borders to the image - 5% Black, 25% White, then 4% Black. Final image output with 2656 x 2016 pixels.

ExifEditor - EXIF data from one of the original images transferred to the final collage.

This was the final animal in the lot. Is he a dragon? A dinosaur? I don't know--I have NO idea what toy line this little dude is from or even who made him--he has no identifying marks on him, and my research thus far hasn't brought up anything. So, if you have any leads on him, I'd appreciate it! In the meantime, he's just going to sit and chillax and groove on in his groovy way.

MYSTERY CRITTER: Unnamed

UPDATE: I found a listing on eBay saying this was from a line called “Furry Fossils”. Going from there I found “Furry Fossils Baby Saurs” and “Furry Fossil Loving Heart Dinosaurs”, but no idea whether these are separate lines or what. And no info whatsoever on the manufacturer! One seller said they were a MLP spinoff a la Fairy Tails, and although the flocking on this dude feels a LOT like the G1 “So Soft” flocking, I’m not sure that I buy that he’s meant to be connected to MLP. Could still be from Hasbro, though. In any case, this little guy seems to be rare and valuable!

Lane Family European Trip - Northern Hemsiphere summer - 1975

==============================================

This is the first slide that I can recall taking on our family 1975 European Trip. Not too bad for a 13-year-old?

I'm not quite sure what I expected, but the River Tiber was a little surprising to me. Perhaps I expected a broad, swift flowing, clear water river given that we were now away from Australia where the weather is thought of as being hot and dry. Instead, it was hardly flowing, green/brown in color, and so far down from the top of the banks and the bridge.

During the stop in Rome, we stayed at a hotel near the Spanish Steps. I cannot recall the name of it, but it was between the steps and this bridge.

The Rome portion of our trip had photos of ...

Campidoglia

Vatican

Coliseum

Forum / Palatine Hill / Aqueduct

==============================================

We flew the "Kangaroo Route" aboard a Qantas jet from Melbourne to Europe. Compared to the present day flights, there were many more intermediate stops and the total time to get to Europe was well over a day.

On the way over to Europe, the route was ...

Melbourne – Sydney – Singapore – Kuala Lumpur – Bahrain – Rome (– London)

or ...

Melbourne – Sydney – Singapore – Bahrain – Rome (– London)

... and on our return to Australia ...

(London -) Athens - Tehran - Delhi - Bangkok - Sydney - Melbourne

==============================================

There are many gaps in the coverage of our trip and there are few photographs of the major landmarks. Postcards were purchased as mementos of these locations rather than taking photographs which were used sparingly at this time due to the cost and relatively poor outcomes due to the skills of the photographer and the equipment used. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the scrapbooks have finished up!

Roman historical sites a recurring theme during the trip for me - I was studying Latin at school at the time.

I never have been a photographer who takes pictures of people. I was 13 year old at this time, and I haven't changed in this respect over the years.

A collage of photos from our trip to Thredbo, February 2014. Generated using the Fuzel iOS app.

The individual images can be seen in more detail in my photostream.

www.flickr.com/photos/momentsforzen/

The following are some of my notes for the Fuzel iOS app ...

Free, with in-app purchases for more stickers and frames, control over the watermark, etc.

Only works in portrait mode on my iPad.

Can import photos from Flickr as well as the Camera Roll.

Make selections - it was able to manage the 15 images in my example here - I don't know what the limit is.

Auto-shuffle the order until deemed acceptable - a bit tricky given that they are square thumbnails in a square image at this stage.

Select the desired final aspect ratio.

Tap-and-hold then drag an image to another location to force two images swap positions.

Double tap an image to change the pan/zoom/lighting.

Add option effects, adjust borders, add a frame, then output to the Camera Roll.

Options to output as a still image or as an animation.

An in-app purchase allows user customization of the watermark added to each frame in the animation output - this includes an option for no watermark. The free version of the app add @fuzel as the watermark.

As a still image, the maximum size of 2560 pixels in the longest dimension is just high enough.

Output as PNG files.

You can't go back to re-shuffle the existing selection which is a pity.

I collaged two screencaps into one image here to save time. So, when you're on your "Public" photostream page, you can drag down the screen a bit to reveal some layout options (I circled them in red). The 4x4 squares icon gives you the standard justified thumbnails layout, while the single square icon gives you the layout that's pictured on the right...it's a lot more Instagram-ish. :^/ Make of that what you will. (It also matches the new Contact page layout.) My question is, if I set my photostream to the Instagram-clone layout, will it appear that way for everybody using the app, or just me? I'm going to leave it that way for a while; let me know how it appears to you! (I do prefer the justified thumbnails, I have to say.)

Thanks to my phone being small enough to install it in the fridge I could bring the final evidence that refrigerator-manufacturers tell the truth about the light is off when closed;)
