The Crazy Mouse ride at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, California. Increased sense of motion (hopefully) provided by a little lens zooming. The fair won't let people bring tripods into this area anymore for fear that someone will trip over one and sue them, so I was trying to find another way to show motion. In the old days it was just a tripod mounted camera and a long exposure.

Ok NASCAR is all about promotion, cars, girls and promotion and promotion.
It is a flood of images, logos, and sales
But it is great fun
Here in Holland we have a new craze every week.
Some supermarket or shop decides to give away toys.
It gets totally crazy, childern see the advertisements on the
television or internet and persuede you to go shopping there.
They even stand inline outside the shop to ask people for their toys.
Silly mother as i am, i some times think the toys are quite funny.
I have to say i liked the gogo crazy bones. We did already shop in
this store and we have hundreds now. The kids played games at school
with them and the had special editions during the football
championships. (which is better than only play the games computer ;))

My first craze that i remember were the flippos that you could find in
the lays chips like 20 years ago... but i guess there are a lot of
people that colleted stickers, cards etc.... long before ;)
The difference is i guess it's all suported by the web now. Not only
the things you get in the store but all the games, facebook, twitter
etc etc...its really moved on to the next level.
I'm sort of twisted about this....but great marketing i guess....
We'll anyway... my son has lot's of fun with them for over a year now.

This is the Funzone at the University of California Riverside. It was a super cool spot because there was a burger place , pool tables, and pc's to game on all under one roof! They also had super cool graffiti artwork done on every wall. Definitely my taste for a chill zone.
