We were in town for a family celebration and I volunteered to take my 5 year-old granddaughter to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
I had the carousel in mind and hurried past these two, side by side, death-defying contraptions that had me in an anxiety-producing sweat despite the November chill.
Sami was intent on riding these or at the very least, a roller-coaster and the bigger the better. I finally compromised and agreed to the bumper cars but fortunately for me, she wasn't quite tall enough to ride.
Next time, she has to come with her more adventuresome mom.
The Fun Zone is just that for us photographers. Your only handy cap is your imagination. A tripod can be good, but hand held shots are the most fun and
creative for me.
