My hubby Mike had hernia surgery last Wednesday and prior to being taken into the operating room I was spending time with him. For those of you who have never met him, Mike is quite the character and has a great sense of humor. He had already been messing with all the nurses and he took the hair cover and put it on this face and asked me to draw a smiley face on it using the Sharpie marker in his pocket (as a magician he ALWAYS has one in his pocket). Being the loving obedient (LOL) wife I am I obliged and this is the result. When he took the mask off, all the magic marker marks were on his face too and I started laughing so hard the nurse came to see what Mike was up to, then she called another and another....I was so busy laughing I did not get a picture of the result, you will have to use your imagination:) They kindly gave us alcohol wipes to clean it with and advised that normally they operate where the marker is...he almost got a facelift. It was a good moment of levity as he headed into surgery.
Finished... what a strange story.... had read through every single book over the last 10 years.... the Dumbledore's betrayal was completely unexpected though... looks like a book on humanity instead.
my mom came to visit last week... i couldn't get a decent shot of her because she kept making weird faces... haha... whatta dork!
I love my eye ice-pack! Puffy eyes, tired eyes, ...*ahem*... hungover eyes...it's good for all of them! After a long, hard day at the office, the eye ice-pack helps revive les yeux, especially before our bi-monthly dinner at Dario's, a favorite neighborhood haunt.

GTWL -- Makeup. As a former cosmetics-slinger, I have loads........and loads..........of makeup. I rarely wear any of it.
Coated in Glamour Tulabelle channels Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. While the gown fits, the stand doesn't fit properly under the gown so between that and Tula's uncooperative hands, I couldn't get her into the iconic Audrey "Take the Picture" pose.
My good friend Chris. When I was cleaning my camera case out I found a SD card at the bottom and it had some pictures on it from when I went to a football game during the rain. I love this one the best!!! MODEL RELEASED
