It must be a fishing motion ? :-)

The funniest bird, instead of running away when i got close and started taking pictures, as all others did, just stopped whatever was doing and started staring at me,she did that without moving for almost 10 min. while i was going around taking pictures,well... maybe i could have taken a better close up but didn't wanted to scare her, it was to funny! :)

Kookaburras are very expressive birds and it gives me an immense pleasure to capture them on every possible angle, in search of the cutest / funniest expression. This one made my day :))

Archive picture of Mavreli, details in the album description!

"What shocking news! I never heard tell..."

One of the funniest poses I caught this guy in. (G.B.H. at Tsehum Harbour, BC).

Please don't use this image on websites, blogs, etc. without my permission.

Inspiration hits at the funniest of times. I was having a week wishing I could literally just hide from the world and just do the Introvert healing.. so made a comment if only "I could put a paper bag over my head and hide..." and this weeks theme idea was born.

Thank you yet again to an amazing soul for encouraging my silliness and helping me to concoct this picture for this weeks theme photo. (sorry not quite a one shot ... but close only 3) ♥

Who's That Girl? Might you be wondering?

🎼: Out of Sight ~ Citizens ~ ** This song was picked because I love the tune**

Out of sight, out of mind

If no one speaks, then we'll be fine

Forget the blood, just give it time

The more we wait, the more it dies

And when I see a mirror on the wall

I look, but don't see any fault

I've been told so many times that it's my pride

But no, it's an issue with their eyes

Well every night I go to bed alone

So what, it's all I've ever known

No one wants to see me as the victim too

Who cares, they can see it as they choose

Silence

Hide in silence

Quiet

We can fight this

Silence

Hide your silence

Quiet

Just keep silent

One of the funniest sayings I've ever heard about relationships goes;

“I just broke up with someone and the last thing she said to me was "You'll never find anyone like me again!" I'm thinking, "I should hope not! If I don't want you, why would I want someone like you."

Today I learned that nothing is guaranteed. That promises are just empty words and unless they're followed by action, they're not worth much. All we really have is today, so why the need to concern ourselves too much with what's to come?

Someday someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else. ♥

Have a happy worry-free weekend friends. :o)

52 weeks for dogs ... ... week 25 ... OMG - OMD ...

... he dared ! ... but just after a while ... he could'nt believe it at first, me just sitting there saying nothing ;) ... it was really fun to watch him circle the bag, looking at me, and circle again, looking back and circle yet another time ... his face like this was just the funniest expression :) ... he looked just óne time at me just to be sure it was oke ... and then took a deep dive ;) ...

The funniest neighborhood name in Chicago. Just something that sounds neat.

196 skips the normal tank car shuffle move between Burnham and Buckeye in East Chicago. These coal buckets from UP needed to move up to South Chicago instead via the PRR Hammond Branch, SC&S and Calumet River Line. Pictured here northbound passing some of the best front lawns in Chicago for railfaning.

The junction between the SC&S and Calumet River Line would have been just beyond the trailing motor. It was a spot on the map simply called Hegewisch Junction and there likely would have been a position light signal for southbound movement blocking this exact view many decades ago.

"Step away from the tripod and remote."

The funniest thing happened on our walk earlier. Our human companion had just visited the big tree, and then had to rejoin the forest trail path. But that meant crossing a stream. It had been raining in the morning, and the stream was wider than usual and surrounded by mud. Reaching it meant stepping down a steep slippery bank. Great thing we were safely in her backpack. She very nearly got wet boots. But then we all drew a deep breath as she took a running jump, landing safely on the other side with us and camera and all.

Now we found this resting place sheltered from the wind. We can hear squirrels in the trees, and I think there's a badger, but they're not coming out to play with us just yet. There's cyclists gathering further up the path – and all the magical creatures have scattered in their wake.

For my "coup de grace" I choose to put my spin on this lovely shot by the most incredible Mr. Sardonicus. Steven, as his parents call him, is one of the funniest Mofacka's out there in the Flickrverse. His bizarre sense of humor is second to none, and his photography goes even further than that. He has the ability to one day make me laugh at Jesus, and the next day make me steal his photos for my wallpaper on my desktop. That doesn't happen too often kids.

What I have to give him total props for though, is that he is the master...THE FREAKIN' MASTER, of the Liquify Tool. I don't know how he does it, because my shit came out all warped and crap, but he rocks the bug eyes like no other...

So Mr. Sardonicus, here's to you and even to your evil twin brother....you're both rad-iculous!

You really should do this...

Funniest comment I ever got while painting today...Watching you is like seeing Jesus reborn. I was like "Not quite, but thanks for the kind words" Anywho I enjoyed this freestyle as it's the last thing i'll be painting in the ol home town for a while...time is to travel! Mugs to the left and Stoops to the right. Will get a better flic tomorrow

This little Joey pokes his head out and takes a look around at his world. From the looks of his feet behind his head this little one has just about grown out of he his early life living space. Baby kangaroos ride around with mum for the first 11 months of their lives. Its one of the funniest things you will ever see when the little guy takes a headlong plunge into mommy's safe zone.

The funniest thing happened today... I went to Wildlife Safari, where you drive through in your car. The animals are free to roam. I pulled over and put the passenger side window down to photo another animal (you can't get out of your car), and an East African Crowned Crane walked up to my driver's side window when I wasn't looking and immediately fell in love with his reflection in my side view mirror!

Funniest caption competition.

Funniest doggie. Outside (and it shouldn't be). Continuing to run away and come back. This was a rapid cell phone pic while holding my big and super excited dog, Bruno, on a leash with the other hand.

Walked out into the livingroom this morning and found this... Yes, he was sleeping! I was surprised his knees didn't buckle! Must have been comfy;)

funniest title ever?

funniest thing ever!! this girl was passed out on the bathroom floor with a FLASK strapped to her thigh! (haha no worries, we checked to make sure she was okay)

Johanna wanted to be included in this picture.

today the funniest thing happened. we were having lunch and we see this guy in the orange shirt and gray hair and glasses... (jörg cracking up in the forefront)

sally handed in her dissertation yesterday, a day early cos she's like that, if anyone embraced both Beauty and the Geek its Ms.Reynolds here.

I know it being friday and sunny that no-one is gonna even see this, but gotta big up the girl for the crazy effort she put into the work she done did.

I have spent 3 years or more with this lady now, and every day i switch between thinking she is the funniest person I have ever met and wanting to stab her in the face and burn her body in the woods. Actually that sounds like too much effort I'd probably just push her off the balcony. (well apart from the fact that she'd snap my neck without a moments hesitation and probably without havin to even put down her knitting). Shes out now getting drunk as all good students should and will probably come home all rowdy and kick some doors in or smother the cat in one of her special hugs. Thats the thing with Sally, you never know quite what will happen next. She is amazing tho, dont forget that... and clever too... and in a few months she may even be after your job....

polaroid 340.

Rosie finishing a page of her book before school. She is reading The Glass Castle: A memoir by Jeanette Walls, a school assignment. When I write my own memoir I will have to include the many hours I have spent in the car taking my girls to school and activities over the years, it boggles the mind. I wouldn't change it though. In the car is where we have some of our best conversations, share some of the funniest jokes, listen to the best music and drink the most giant smoothies. Rosie has developed a knack for recording me while saying insane things or laughing like a hyena and sending it to friends and family. Sometimes when we get home and a good song is on the radio, we tilt our seats back and listen quietly til the end before going inside. It's a great ride.

Thank you for calling...

How may I not help you?

OMG! Today was awfully awkward, yet somehow when I look back at it, kind of hilarious at the same time. See after six weeks of learning everything there is to know about cell phones and billing for my job, I instantly forgot everything I had learned once I was on the phone with the customers for the first time today. It was so scary.

I had about eight people call in that I did not know the answers quick enough to find the solution to their issue, before their patience thinned to anger. One lady called me an idiot and said I was worthless. I believe it's because I kept putting her on hold multiple times to find the answer. Once I got back on the line, she had already found the answer herself to the question, but not before leaving with some really rude remarks. The same thing pretty much happened with seven other of my customers. I don't blame them, sort of. I would be angry too if I got a newbie like me, but I wouldn't have gone so far to say such mean things. I guess I will just have to get used to it. That's not even really the worst of what I heard can happen. I could barely understand one guy asking me questions because of his New York accent. Sheesh

LOL. There was only one customer I actually could help because I knew the answer. Better yet I even made him happy unlike the other customers! That being because I gave him 200 dollars in credits for his overages, which I think I was able to do. (hopefully) I almost accidentally credited him 20,000 dollars by mistake, luckily my partner next to me noticed before I pushed the enter button.

Probably the funniest thing of the whole day was this, and likely not helping my problems anymore. Before you start your calls, you record the greeting above, so you don't have to keep repeating "Welcome to Verzion blah blah blah" every phone call. You hear it go off in the headset, and then afterward you talk to the customer normally, without them ever knowing it's a recording. Well, for some reason my greeting didn't go off..... So immediately when I put on my headset, I heard a random voice say "Hello?" to me. I was like " uhhh heeeeeeeello?" And then they are like, "uhhhh is this Verizon?" "And I'm like "OH CRAP!" because I had noticed I was in a call. They probably thought I was prank calling or on drugs. This happened for about three calls until I figured out what was happening. I didn't know when they would pop up, since the computer answers the call for you. Really funny. I fixed my greeting afterward so I would know when they were on the phone.

My partner I was paired up with listened to my calls for two hours while I worked, and then we switched vice versa. I was angry because he got all the sweet old ladies that were like, "Take your time dear, no rush!". I was so mad that I got all the mean people. LOL.

So in conclusion, I don't know about this call center stuff. I hope day two goes better.

One of the funniest pictures I've ever taken... Tried to get a photo of Rocket's fully open mouth during a yawn, but pressed the shutter a nanosecond too late, and this is what I ended up with... ROFLMFAO! My father laughs sooo hard when he sees this picture!

This is exactly how Rocket looks, there's no brightening, no overexposed colors. This is the true-to-life Rocket.

Funniest thing I've seen in a while. I leaned the mirror against the porch rails. The anole came by and caught his reflection in the mirror. He thinks it is another anole and goes right into attack mode. Eventually the anole reaches the top of the mirror, goes to the other side looking for the other lizard. LOL!

Funniest comedian busker ever

Finally back to posting during my spring break. So here's a welcome return from (possibly flickr first) Woozy Winks and Plastic Man.

Been sitting on this for some time. I figure it works as a way to finesse a new Plastic Man photo. I got more ideas I'm gonna try and cobble together before I go back.

Funniest thing I've ever seen at the gym

One of funniest exhibitions I saw last year was Erwin Wurm´s show in The Hague.

The sculptures invited visitors to interaction, so I asked the attendant to pose with his ´cocktail bar´. The seat included a cabinet with tiny glasses and delicious liqueurs. I drank a sip of almond liqueur to her health and her beauty, but I was too shy (yes, I often am) to ask her name. I'm still sorry about that...

But lo and behold! After a week the museum mailed me her name - Aarika- with the addition that she likes the result...

When I saw these people smiling like that immediately reminded me of Monty Python's sketch "The funniest joke in the world." Apparently, no one died this time.

Quando vi essas pessoas sorrindo desse jeito, imediatamente me lembrei daquela esquete do Monty Python "A piada mais engraçada do mundo". Aparentemente, ninguém morreu dessa vez.

Sweet sweet baby mine

I want you 'round me all the time

Cause you know you make my soul sing

And the bells in my heart go chime chime chime

Sweet sweet baby mine

I'm short of breath and full of sighs

Yeah you set my sprit soaring

And you make my lovelight shine shine shine

I'm gracin' the edge

I'm losing my head

I'm fallin'

But I don't mind

You set the fire

Inside my soul

And the heat

Makes it hard to say no

I didn't wanna lose control

But I'm fallin'

Model is Evan Borges.

This was a quick portrait taken just as the sun tucked behind the mountains, I had an idea like this in my head and instantly I knew that it was the right time.

I wanted to capture that moment in a season that you are filled with the memories of the previous, content with the current, and wonder for the next.

Evan is seriously one of the funniest and cool people I've ever met, I'm so glad that we finally had the chance to meet and work together and I'm hoping it happens again soon!
