We are very similar but hairy you will find ....
If I glimpse a person down, shaking on my tree ....
I'll sort them out with a cup of monkey pee .... 🐒
If you try to talk to me, I'll scream and play around ....
Jumping and showing off ....
on the high trees I bound ....
I'm a funky monkey full of fun and joyous ....

This oil on water image was created for "Macro Mondays" this coming Monday 04/08/2025. This theme is .... (Liquid)
I photographed this image entirely outside using ambient natural lighting.
I used a large plastic clear pink bowl, then inserted a colourful piece of rainbow 🌈 material dry inside the bowl.
I then placed an oblong glass casserole dish above the bowl and filled it with warm water.
To this water, I then added a small amount of virgin olive oil and stirred it around to see that there was enough oil droplets floating, I then added a very small drop of dish soap liquid to enhance
the oil droplets.
Then I stirred this oily mixture around with a spoon and realised it looked ready.
I then took many macro images as the oil droplets floated across the colourful rainbow material underneath.
There you have it.
That's how I achieved my oil on water image using everyday items and no fancy high-tec gadgets, just natural sunlight.
Of course, I have edited it in the usual way on the computer, cropping, etc.
I can see a slight abstract monkey face in this image. Well, I have a vivid imagination 😅
If you see it too, this is somewhat unlikely?
But if you do, well, please let me know?

I stopped my car on the way to wayanad and this little monkey jump on my car and he try to do some moves on my cars bonet.
That was really funny and I opened my cam and capture some photos and this is one of his best move he showed us
I love that I have my special pixel world back. I love even more that I have amazing people to share it with me.
When I get to DJ, time flies as we are all having fun, but in the end, time here is eternal. We never age, we get to be as our Mindseye shows us to be.
Tonight my Mindseye took my friends on a wild ride through some wonderful olde skool hip hop and dance music. My friends held on tight and all just rode in the flow together.
I missed being myself and being free in this world...

I just loved this monkey...aka the CORONA FUNKY MONKEY! He seemed like a very happy monkey but for some reason, this photo makes me feel sad. :(
This was taken from up the NUT, don't you love it. Stanley is a little precious town located in the far north of Tasmania. It sits on an jutting land mass surrounded by water on both sides. The Nut, it a hill in the center of town, which you can walk up via walking tracks or take the fun way on the chair lift.
I really enjoyed the two day stay here as there was so much to see and do in this tiny metropolis and the pub meals were delish. We stayed in a self contained cabin here and had a roaring fire going the whole time. The town is a mass of B&B's and is a great place to stop and relax a while.
I have wanted to have a go at this tilt shift idea for a while and wish to thank Funky Slug ( Brian) for his help with a great tutorial on how to do it. It was simple and easy to follow and most effective. So thank you FunkyMonkey.
