'Renegades of Funk (The Crystal Method Remix)' - Rage Against The Machine
Funk Farms takes its name from Funk Road, located in Rensselaer County, New York. It sells baked goods at various farmers' markets in the region.
I shot this well after midnight on the Knik River in Alaska this past June. Knik Glacier is in the background of this stunning setting. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit in Alaska and hope to return and will eventually. Got to give a shout out and thanks to my friend Jason Dahlquist for showing me around and giving me a great taste of what Alaska is all about.
I've been in a little processing/developing funk for a while now. That hasn't been the case for getting out there and getting shots but sitting in front of the computer and processing hasn't been a priority or a drive of mine as of late. Hopefully I can get rolling here soon and share some new images that I've taken the past year or so. Not sweating it thou because I know this all goes with the territory of photography. It comes and it goes and that's just the way it is.

Impromptu street portrait from Glasgow, Scotland. A busker in a three piece band that was absolutely shredding the funk with his bassist and drummer, who frankly rocked too! Enjoyed the tunes for some time, donated some loose change and captured this when they were not expecting me to. I managed to pull out the reflection in processing to give the city context to the image, enjoy!

Lutry (Switzerland) - The Lutry "Folle Semaine" music festival (2019) ended with four concerts, including that of bassist Achille Ouattara accompanied by singer Paméla and Moïse (the drummer off camera).
Distinguished musicians who for the occasion were joined by three other guitarists (also off-screen) met during the festival. We were treated to a unique and memorable Afro-Funk concert. But during the "balance" (adjustment of the sound system), they had fun by taking up progressive rock titles and went into a delirium on jazz fusion. And all in a good mood. This photo was taken at the start of the concert before the light became too unmanageable due to poor lighting equipment.
My wife and I went for a walk in the woods on New Year's Eve. We were finishing the short loop when we saw this this gruesome, almost-fresh deer skeleton draped over the trail junction sign, with the flesh not quite totally cleaned off. I was pretty sure I would have noticed it if it had been there when we walked by the same spot 1/2 hour earlier. We weren't sure if it was somebody's rather sick joke, or just part of some kind of demo that was going on at the nearby nature center.
