Day 3 in Australia
Long exposures of Funk/Reggae musician Oscar Jimenez (Matussi) and friends. Great music.
Originally designed in the early 1930s by Howard and Joe Funk, the Funk Model B, also known as the "Bee," originally featured a Ford automobile engine converted for aviation use.
During World War II, production of the Funk Model B was halted and didn't begin again until 1946.
When production began again in 1946, the aircraft was fitted with a Continental 85 horsepower engine. Unfortunately, the aircraft did not sell well and production was halted in 1948 after 380 aircraft were produced.
