We had received about 28 inches of snow over five days and I had to try out my snowshoes and surprisingly they still worked as I had bought them in 1971 making them 50 years old.

Life seems to take on new meaning in the summertime. We find more time to relax, soak uf the sunshine, spend time with nature and family, and we seem to be much more thankful for our blessings!!! Why not make it a point to take a break before the sun goes down today and just relax? Eat a nice dinner, spend some time in laughter with friends and family, and cast your cares to the sea!!! Today is all that we're really promised, so why not make the best of it? You'll be so glad that you did!!!!

Nothing really much to say a about this week. Other than the fact that it's COMPLETE BULLSHIT. I don't think i've ever been so stressed out in my life; and it's really taking a tole on me. I have classes all day from 8:45AM - 3:25PM, and it just wears me out. I miss spares. But, to be honest, I feel more mature because I just go to class, pay attention, then onto the next one. I need good grades.
Oh yeah and about the picture. I miss Mexico.
Just wanted to tell you guys how I feel. Help me!

Let's see what Hans-Erik Jason Mark Myra Linda and David think of this one compared to yesterday's version with the sea showing a little. I'm voting for the latest one (Umhlanga Beach).
I've called this one "Signature Paradise" (all my photos have a name so when they appear on Flickr they are not called "IMG_7563" wink emoticon. No cropping has been done as I'm still deciding which way I want to present it.
Update: this photo is the Signature Photo for the Beverly Hills Hotel 2015. It's on their brochure front page and inside (double spread).

Maybelle wanted to spend her time at the fishing camp perched on the portable air conditioner drinking vodka martinis until the wasps began to swarm. Because of the fierce congregation of buzzing Apocrita, Buford missed the Summer Solstice schooling of bull bream on Lake Bisteneau.

It was our daughter's 30th BD and they allowed my wife to take a small crown up for some photos (don't worry Court, I'll save those.. LOL).
People said "Happy Birthday" to her all day long. It was great. Everyone was very nice.
You can see some of the open windows in the crown. Where these photos are taken from.

These guys would appear to be having fun in the sun as yesterday they were closed, opening up in the sun today!
I was also having fun in the sun using one of my favourite vintage lenses, to give it its full title, the Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Sonnar MC 135 mm F3.5, manufactured in 1987.
Pretty sharp at F3.5 wide open and great colour.
Croci, crocuses or crocus seem to be acceptable as the plural!
