A: For the most customized experience possible, Clarisonic brush head bristles are cut to varied lengths on each type of brush head, with the longest length providing the most plush feel. This offers different levels of gentleness, while each is equally effective.
Q: How do Clarisonic brush heads work so effectively?
A: Our brush heads oscillate back and forth at over 300 movements per second, gently flexing the skin. This motion releases dirt and oil within the pores and sweeps away dead skin cells, impurities, and environmental pollutants.

Übrigens habe ich dieses Bild im RAW-Modus aufgenommen. Ein Kollege hat mich letztens ermutigt, es doch nochmal damit zu probieren. Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich es ausprobiert hatte, damals kam ich irgendwie nicht damit zurecht. Dieses Mal scheint es besser zu funktionieren. Danke, Jarek! :-)

ShowPDX: A Decade of Portland Furniture Design

ShowPDX Innovative + Functional Furniture Design is a biennial exhibit presented by fix studio. Show2014 displays over 60 examples of unusual and stimulating furniture design while providing designers/fabricators/makers with a place and resource for peer and public recognition, support and dialogue.
In 2001, small group exhibits by local designers and fabricators inspired the birth of a regular venue for furniture design in Portland. Created by designers Jennifer Jako and Christopher Bleiler of fix studio, Show2002 was the first of its kind in Portland. The exhibit was a curated show of furniture design, featuring local designers, fabricators, and makers. Through the spirit and support of the ShowPDX curatorial group, Show2014 continues to fuel collaboration, inspire students, create dialog amongst colleagues, promote business and inspire events by other independent designers and regional designers at locations across the country.
In October, Show2014 opens to the public. ShowPDX: A Decade of Portland Furniture Design at Museum of Contemporary Craft is the first retrospective of this landmark, juried invitational. The exhibition will bring together ten-years of ShowPDX, showcasing the evolution of furniture design in Portland.

Bruce Gholson is a studio art potter living in the Seagrove Pottery Community of central North Carolina.
Our functional art ceramic mugs are finely crafted. We pay extra attention to the details. The bottom is polished to a surface friendly smoothness, the lip of the cup is contoured to be pleasant to drink from, and the handle is backfilled at the bottom to fluidly fit the form.
This mug is made out of a smooth red clay body. The fossil fish is hand drawn with a white clay slip formulated especially for a crackled earth effect. Bruce's signature and "Bulldog" are inscribed on the smoothly polished bottom.
Bulldog Pottery is located in Seagrove North Carolina. We have a pottery shop open to the public all year. Visit us, and other Seagrove Potters in a community dedicated to a delightful pottery experience for you.

Western United States Rocky Mountain Horse Equine Facility
Triple S Ranch was a $7 million full service equine facility. Horses were bred, foaled, weined and trained for the breeding industry as well as the Kentucky show circuit.
The ranch was purchased as a 340 acre cattle ranch and took two years to transform into a full scale horse training facility.
It was built with state of the art technology for its time and could handle any equine event with its 120' by 240' arena, a detached veternary building complete with two foaling stalls, infra-red camera systems, a quarantine stall along with stocks to aid vet care and a fully functional area for the farrier.
Along side an office/trophy and conference room was an outdoor patio dining area complete with a full scale kitchen that could accommodate 100 people.
Other features of the facility was a tack/training barn that had the ability to tack up to six horses at a time along with two wash racks.
Included was a hot walker that could accommodate six horses adjacent to large grass turnouts.
Two shedrows that housed 28 horses with individual turnouts, round pens and outdoor arenas.
Also located on the grounds was a 40' by 60' equipment shop that held pick-ups and horse trailers along with tractors and other equipment necessary for the functioning of the facility.
The facility occupied 7 acres of the 340 acre ranch and the remaining land was set aside as pasture and hay fields.
The ranch was sold in 2014 and remains an equine facility under a different name to this day.
I made my Shaker hood Functional on my Trans Am. The inside is plugged so all the air that comes in is gold. The air cleaner is also insulated with heat resistant tape.
Air comes through a K&N extreme air filter and air filter top.
Ngwenya Glass Factory. Swaziland/Eswatini. Sep/2019
Since 1987, Ngwenya Glass has been making glassware in Swaziland/Eswatini from 100% recycled glass. Building upon a reputation of quality, functionality, beauty & social impact. The unique combination of factors that make up Ngwenya Glass, make it a living & breathing animal in its own right.
The Prettejohn’s took over in June 1987, spending a couple of months getting the machinery working and tracking down some of the original staff. They started production in August with four former employees, including Sibusiso Mhlanga, the master glassblower. Ngwenya Glass now employs over 60 people, including two of the original Swedish-trained blowers. Sibusiso who has visited Sweden several times in recent years to work again with some of the world’s leading glassblowers, now tutors the new apprentices.
Since its rebirth, Ngwenya Glass has been more than an inspiring success story. It is an environmentalist’s dream. The products, which include a range of tableware, drinking glasses, vases, jugs and ornamental African animals, are all handmade from 100 % recycled glass.

Walnut Street Bridge – Also known as "The Walking Bridge", it is one of the centerpieces of Chattanooga's urban renewal, and is the second longest pedestrian bridge in the nation. Constructed in 1891, the bridge was declared unsafe and closed to traffic in 1978. It was on the verge of being demolished in the late 1980s when public demand led to it being restored as a pedestrian-only span that opened in 1993
