I used the brand new AI Elephant Popcard for my inside surprise and Happy Birthday from the AI Chocolate Therapy set. The front I embossed with a quilted WRMK folder and die cut the rectangle using MFT Wonky Stitched dies, the sentiment stamp is from MFT Adorable Elephants.
With fifty-five students by the summer’s end, the IRC in Seattle's Newcomer School Readiness Program was a big success! For seven weeks, newly arrived refugee youth participated in a variety of activities to help prepare them for the upcoming school year. In addition to daily classroom lessons, songs and games, the kids also went on fun field trips to the local fire station and the Seattle Aquarium. Thanks to all the dedicated teachers, interns, community members, and students who helped make this year's program one to remember!
