Pulled a lot of these out of a box I've been adding items to for over a year. When someone leaves a plastic bottle cap outside and I see it, I grab it. Same with beer caps, pop-tops, etc. Some corks and screw caps are from my favorite wines. I promised myself once the box was full, I'd find a use for them in mosaics. But along came the Upcycling Challenge and after doing the first bucket with dish tiles, I decided to go with a different tesserae for the one I want to send out and started digging before the box was full. Fun!!!

I love the fairies at Bristol (The Fantastikals). I love Epona (the storm pony) more than anything. She's recaptured the same mischievous energy that "Blue fish boy" had a few years ago. If I have to choose one favorite, it'd be her (and not just because we bonded over Rice Krispies treats).

Back in 2005, my friend Corey and I took a roadtrip to Florida! We visited his grandparents on one side of the state, and then some friends of ours on the other side. The brother we stayed with had a teenage son and daughter that he asked us to take back to Pennsylvania as they were going to stay with friends, and since we were in the state anyway, it was more convenient for us to take them back. We had tons of fun-among the places we went to was the Everglades (those swamp alligators were neat!) and a Packard museum (they had some cars made before World War 1)

this was an experiment with a cenotaph shadow that turned out NTB. Again had to make a magazine cover.
