Jasper has been way into his Oddball lately, plopping the Oddball and his face on the couch in an invitation. This Sony Eye Autofocus does an amazing job with Jasper. I keep clicking off photos. But with 42 megapixels each shot is 42MB and I have to be brutal about trashing duplicates or anything with motion blur or my hard drive will fill up in no time.aus

These two black bears were so much fun to watch. They would chase each other around trees over and over as if they were playing Ring Around the Rosie and then they would start play fighting.
'Peanut' was a beautiful squirrel residing in Bridal Falls BC, where I captured his image... then, a about a year later, stricken with breast cancer, during my chemotherapy treatments, I painted him. Was so blessed as I described on the image inscription...
Sunlight amazes me after months of rain and fog. This is a slinky, "a precompressed helical spring toy invented by Richard James in the early 1940s. It can perform a number of tricks, including travelling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum, or appear to levitate for a period of time after it has been dropped."
But I simply wanted to play with the bokeh light and shadows, for now.
This week Photoclub met at the amazing sim Vindfjell. It is beautifully done, with mist and fog and lots of rain. You can go heard sheep or just be sneaky and take a peek at what your friends are up to... ☺

This effect was created by placing a piece of plastic on top of my computer screen with an all white background. I placed a crystal ball on top of the plastic to maginify the poloraized colors. The compositon was photographed using a Polarized Filter.
When Sophie doesn’t want to let me throw the ball, she will throw the ball/toy in the air to herself. After an afternoon of playing in the dirt, Sophie was very dirty and needed two baths to be completly clean.
The comings and goings of the bird life on the Farne Islands made for great entertainment, especially the characterful puffins.
