Coarse high fire clay for thermal shock resistance; throw on the wheel; trimming; transforming; (putting on colored slip); bisque fire around 1940 Fahrenheit/ 950 Celsius-Orton cone 04; then decorate with tape to get a difference between the glaze and clay; glaze with clear glaze; glaze fire and when it cools down take out around 1400 – 1100 F/ 700 – 600 C; spray with ferric chloride, which will give it a luster and/or put on horsehair; let it cool down and clean the piece.

Astrid and I went to Lund to meet with some people from Lund university for measurement of particles in welding fumes. This pictures were taken during measurements inside a welding workshop where stone crushers are produced.

Both ugly and glamerous. I'm not sure which I agree with more.
