years ago, I spent a lot of nights in my darkroom to develop negatives and enlarge photos. It was fascinating how slowly an image appeared on a white sheet of photographic paper in the developer liquid.
Today there is no more darkroom, but Lightroom and Photoshop. :-)))

Experiment:
Taken @300mm Focal length with 2.0 crop factor effective in 35mm FF terms = 600mm (+ built in teleconverter mode)
which is actually a 5megapixel sensor crop to give the effect of x2 focal length so final effective focal length should be 1200mm, this is at the expense of what would be 20Mega pixels image.
I was so taken by this building that I had to capture both the front and back of it. I love its general look and feel, and the fact that half of it has a river running beneath it!
Most people will discover it while walking through the New Alresford Memorial Park in which it stands, but it does have access to the local road network as well.
It does look as though It is surrounded by water, and essentially it is - there are watercress farms all around it, all fed by the tributaries of the Alres river which runs beneath it.
