My first picture of the new year! We took advantage of the great weather today and did an Elsa themed photoshoot!

some more detailed shots of my finished repainted ooak queen idun of arendelle doll. (: she used to be a disney store elsa doll before. i rerooted her hair and repainted her face. the dress is completely handsewn by me. the embroidery on the back of it took me three months to do (i know, it doesn't look like this much work, lol, but it was!). i also made her a little crown and added rhinestones to the dress. (:

i am super happy how she turned out and i hope you love her as well. x3 alltogether, she took me 2 years to finish!

first pics of designer snow queen elsa's dress. (: i wanted her to be the designer snow queen of the original fairy tale; when i read the fairy tale, she is something i would imagine as the snow queen. i wanted the dress itself to be "fluid". the skirt can be draped in a tons of different ways. :D there are many, many rhinestones on it that cannot really be seen on the little pics, especially the icy sparkly ones are hard to see. on the bottom of the skirt, there is one big rhinestone snowflake. there are icicles on her little cape which can be removed. (:

some more display options of the dress i made for my interpretation of the designer snow queen portrayed by our beloved queen elsa. (; she used to be a disney store elsa classic doll before.

two more pictures of her dress and possibilities to display it. (: i wanted the skirt to be fluid and full of possibilities! :D you can also see the icicles on the back. (;

another pic of my repainted limited edition elsa doll who had to go back to her box bcause i really like how she looks inside it. x3

and i'll rise like the break of dawn! :D

my new transformation elsa is finally complete. (: this time she has a more determined look and her dress is in an earlier state of the transformation to the snow queen. the weird snowy things are made with my photo program, lol.

this was so much fun to do! x3 she was a collaboration of amber kercher and me; amber made the armour and i repainted the doll and styled her hair. the inspiration for the armour was taken from a fanart by jessica nigri. more pics of her will follow. =3

and one last shot of my repainted singing elsa where you can see her painted arms as well. (:

it has been so long already since i made this one but i never quite finished the dress ... i'm actually not very fond of the repaint anymore, haha. but i spent hours sewing and glueing that i thought i might upload the finished version of the wip i posted a while back o deviantart. (:

because i like how it turned out! i thought that the colors are not movie accurate but i liked the settled blue of the skirt which also has a very faint texture in it, so i really wanted to turn it into a dress and i felt that blue silk somehow would go nicely with it. =3

i do not own the character of elsa, she belongs to disney.

last but not least - a picture of the full armour of the warrior elsa i made in a collaboration with amber kercher! :D amber made the armour and i repainted the doll and styled her hair. the inspiration for the armour was taken from a fanart by jessica nigri.

picture of my transformation elsa in her box. the little snowflake can even move around. ;D

one more picture of my recent snow queen elsa doll and her dress. (;

It's snowing today, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to bring Elsa out for a mini photo shoot before it melted. I love the snow, it's so pretty!

I think she's become my favorite princess besides Ariel.

So on this trip I found some really great dolls! A Disney Store Elsa (whose hair needs some serious care), a My Scene guy doll, a vintage Teresa and a gorgeous black barbie (Shani?) doll, a Moxie Teenz doll(!!!) and an Action Man figure in a spacesuit!

Also found was a mini Bratz doll, a mini backpack and a Bambi figure!

She's even prettier out of her box!

So, my curiosity got the better of me and I got this Elsa Doll. She's from the same company that made my knockoff Anna doll (www.flickr.com/photos/toobila/15978162260/), as both dolls have the exact same box packaging.

Again, the face paint is quite impressive and accurate for a knock off doll, and so is the dress, although there are some unnecessary patterns on it, as well as very obvious stitch marks. She is possibly the best looking knock off Elsa doll out there.

Face repainted as a commission for "Beast_SS"

I'm glad that I finally have them in my Frozen collection! I like the style of them.
