So, I finally made the leap and got a digital camera, a Fuji Fine Pix E900. A camera that I had heard nothing but good things about, Consumer Reports even gave it their highest rating. So after months of hemming and hawing and doing reserch I go to B&H yesterday and spend $400 (including 'accesories') and buy the damn thing.
I then take it home and start playing with it and as I'm looking at the playback, I notice all this noise, these weird lines across the screen, like I took a picture of a TV screen. It appears I got a lemon. Just a random crap. So, tomorrow the call to Fuji will take place (they're closed now) and goddamn they better give me a new camera.
And it's even more frustrating, because you can tell how close it is to giving you a really great image. Sigh.
This is one of the best images, it got pretty awful by like the 10th picture. Stupid ccd chip.
once again, I've went too far and then forged ahead on the heel even though it was too long. time to rip back and rethink which architecture will give me the right increases.
