These beauties were growing in my Mom's garden. Happy Sunday my friends, may your day be as bright as these sunflowers =)

... Weren't meant for walking.

These are fun, but I've never seen them with any flowers in them, which seems a pity.

The first time I've ever seen these front steps. They're the front door steps to the house having some building work done on it.

Lovely solid stairs, but where's the handrail?!

Saturday for Stairs.

Found on my hard drive, and it's not on here, as far as I can tell.

Maybe view large, and thank you for your favourites. :)

I usually avoid these like the plague, but thought this one rather cute!

Portland, ME Delivered packages on the stoop

Archives again, but one I like.

I may have over toasted this one, if so, let me know in comments and I can cool it down a bit.

Front steps.

I've uploaded a very similar photo to this one before, but there's something I like about the angle here that is missed in the earlier version:

I often leave peanuts on the front step for Chippie. He didn't see me take his photo when he was sitting on the planter.

We've had some gorgeous weather this past week and I'm thrilled to say that all three cats have gotten to enjoy being outside as much as they like. Happy Caturday's theme this week is Spring and I realize there is not a single thing in the photo that suggests springtime except that I know that Mack is, for the moment, fine and enjoying the warmth and being outside and I am filled with hope.

Don't think I've taken these before, but if I have it was a long time ago.

These look ever so steep to me, but I did like the mug at the bottom. I wonder if it's for refreshments before going up, or once down!

Noticed these stairs the other day, almost walked past before the dappled light caught my eye.

Happy Stairs for Saturday.

Good solid stairs up to the front door, but I'd prefer a handrail too!

... Saturday for Stairs.

All that dead wood on the stairs was a wonderful Wisteria, but it didn't survive last year's storm.

The garden next to this one, that belongs to the amazing château, has obviously suffered far worse than this garden.

Here are2 photos that G managed to get of it :

When I was out the other day with Evelyne, we noticed that they had a huge work force in trying to clear the garden. Poor them.

I walk past this staircase quite often, but think it's the first time I've taken a photo of them!

I'm not going to search for any Happy Days, but have come to my own compromise, if I find one I like; and know that I haven't taken it before, I'll take a photo.

These front steps are new, but do look very like others I've taken. My guess is that it's a popular and local design.

Found some stairs that I'd not seen before, probably because they're hidden behind a very large hedge!

These just looked odd at the bottom of the front steps.

I had to be a bit careful taking these front steps. The owners have a lovely German Short-haired Pointer, but when I once asked if I could take its photo, got a very impolite "Non." Thankfully for me there was no-one home yesterday!

... Saturday for Stairs.

Not too many steps, but you can't get to the top one!

This family has put their travel plans on hold, but not their travel goals.

Winter is still on the door step.

Can't see the stairs that well, but I'd have to have gone into the garden for that photo!

I turned this to black and white as it looked better, or I think it did.

Actually taken earlier this month when we had some sun. Although I think I'm forgetting what that was.

Looking lovely in some sunshine, it's gone now. :0(

I've taken these before, but I liked the angle I could get this time and the sunlight.

Not many and a handrail and maybe a safely barrier at the top!

This is a photo on zoom that I took of last weeks HSfS, you can see how uneven they really are.

Also that drop at the top of the frame is the stairs that go down to the house. It looked almost like the steps just stop!

Couldn't get a photo of those steps without permission and there didn't seem to be anyone around.
