Stopped for a cup of @lacolombecoffee at Volo Coffeehouse in Manayunk this morning. It was so beautiful out, we enjoyed the gorgeous sunshine amongst the remnants of fall. Perfect way to prepare for Thanksgiving food prep that's going on in our kitchen right now!

Indoor plumbing. Yep, I'm incredibly grateful that I have indoor plumbing - and hot water for that matter - because I can't seem to make it through the night half the time without one visit to the bathroom. If you've ever lived without a bathroom at your fingertips, you'll know what I mean, especially in winter or on rainy nights. We're so fortunate in the first world to have this simple pleasure that many have to do without, yet we usually take it for granted. I've only lived without indoor plumbing when camping or traveling in more remote corners of the world, so today I'm honoring my toilet, and I think you should too!

Here's this morning's haul from the garden! Garden Salsa chilies, 1 Sweet 'n' Neat Tomato, 1 Sugarspun Tomato, 1 Jumbo Jalapeño & 5 regular Jalapeños!!! Anyone ever make jalapeño poppers? Wonder how its done!
