Crocuses / Krokusse in our garden - Frankfurt-Nordend
Even if we all enjoy these sunny days with temperatures up to 20°C in February with 5 days in a row, it was the longest series of too warm days in February ever ... a cause for concern?!

"The political decision-makers who (will) meet at COP26 in Glasgow are urgently summoned to provide effective responses to the present ecological crisis and in this way to offer concrete hope to future generations...
Moments of difficulty like these also present opportunities, opportunities that we must not waste. We can confront these crises by retreating into isolationism, protectionism and exploitation. Or we can see in them a real chance for change, a genuine moment of conversion, and not simply in a spiritual sense."
(Pope Francis)

I hope that the efforts to combat climate change will soon regain the significance they deserve, despite the many anti-Covid activities, because they are much more crucial in the long term!
... to England's Rose!
Goodbye England's Rose by Elton John (1997)
Now the time has come to finish the unpleasant process, that unfortunately began 2 1/2 years ago and caused endless useless discussions in Europe and childish debates in London, and I'm still sad to see you leaving, my British friends.
Although I hope that all these endless 'news' during the last years will now come to an end and that there finally is more time to discuss more important issues and to solve fundamental problems on our planet - Fridays For Future!

I say goodbye too, but only for two weeks ;-).

Even if most of your thoughts on Christmas Eve revolve around the Christmas party, the big meal, the family and the presents ...
we should not forget that all this would not be possible without an intact nature and environment!
That's why we should continue to work towards not polluting and damaging our wonderful planet even more!.
For peace, respect and responsible behaviour
towards all beings on our precious, little planet!
Merry Christmas!

And remember, there will be no vaccine against the loss of biodiversity and global warming...
we all will have to change a lot in the way we live and think!
And when I see the global behaviour during the current pandemic, it doesn't make me very confident ...

'#COP26 has been named the most excluding COP ever.
