Alcarcova de Baiyo, Evora Portugal. ..and this is a Monday night.

We had two raptors here this morning. I couldn't see the other from the deck blind, but I think this is a juvenile. While rotating the camera, this one flew. My spouse thought one of the birds suggested dining here al fresco since we had a good assortment of small birds.

Any ID help allowed. I think this is a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk, from the gape flange and yellow-gold eye hue.

Plus the square tail.

We see eagles and red-tailed hawks, etc., but I’m generally too poor-sighted or lazy to try capturing.
