We always used to joke about the apocalypse, didn’t we?
Would it be a super sickness? Climate Change? An undead uprising?
Would we be able to get away from the zombies fast enough
on our simple road bikes just for people who
want to keep getting around
instead of having our brains eaten.
Did we have enough food in storage?
What date do you think it actually expires?
Can we hunt for mushrooms, pick for berries?
How soon does nature kill us without us
cross referencing Google?
Our frenemy the internet died a long time ago.
What books will we read first
when the electricity goes out and which ones
will be turned into toilet paper and kindling
Wait…do we even know how to build a fire?
Do we know how to put out the fire we start?
Every day is an emergency no one responds to.
In the end…it was a mixture of all three.
There were tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires
The undead still didn’t want to get vaccinated
(even when we tried to tell them this is what
killed them in the very first place).
Zombies are stubborn, I mean, what can we do?
And now, the end of the world is no joking matter.
We could have stopped it but
we were too selfish and arrogant and
resistent to change.
We let this happen.
We watched and ate popcorn with butter.
But I love you, darling.
You gave me so many good years on Earth
You were always so good at fixing things
(except for humanity and the environment)
You’re not as good at killing things
(like zombies).

Mr Spock and Ms Hallie are frenemies and most of the time Mr Spock wins the race for lap time with my Mom but Ms Hallie is starting to stand up for herself to have lap time too
From Station to Station. These two hummingbirds seemed to be frenemies from the start. The larger Violetear ran that little Scintillant away and away and away then they were friends. I can watch them go back and forth for hours.

The 'Designer Fashions' consisted of more elaborate and detailed outfits. There were seven different ensembles to choose from.
'Rainy Days' featured a neatly tailored coat with a belt, hat, matching scarf and boots. (The scarf and boots looked different in the ad, but this is how they were sold.) Binoculars were included to complete the set.

Lucy was keeping a close eye on Dizzy below her. They get on fine most of the time, but they're not close the way Dizzy and Cally were. It's hard to believe it was a year ago this month that we lost Cally. Sometimes it feels like yesterday.

This random Stormtrooper Commander. I rather like this guy a lot actually. I've been thinking up a backstory for him. I imagine he's in operation during Return of The Jedi and onwards. Or maybe he's a she. *Who Knows*.
Kir Kanos: From Crimson Empire and such stories. This guy may be one of my favorite SW characters of all time, and I only found out about him recently (Thanks to Ashens on Youtube.)
Rodian Pirates (and Greedo): Made a couple more pirates cause I just keep finding Rodian heads. Quite like these guys as well, I feel like they'd run into That Stormtroop commander sometimes and they'd have a frenemy-type relationship. Like Hondo Ohnaka with everyone he meets. Also Greedo's there cause he's still a lovely little fig.

I miss her. She has gone away for over 3 months. I'm afraid my neighbor might have caught and killed her to eat. Last time she was tied in a sack left in his kitchen. When was watering the garden, I heard she cried the most frightening meow, then I went to recuse her. But this time...

Onyx stumbled across Lorna in the Dizzy Disco Club.. and is not too happy to see her..
You see they used to be best friends, untill of course Onyx found out her boyfriend was cheating on her with Lorna. Harsh. Lorna never knew Onyx found out. She pretends to like her, but anyone can see she hates her! I think Lorna figured it out ages ago.. but she'll keep trying. Onyx doesn't want to hurt Lorna's feelings, but she wishes she could break a bone or two >:)

There are some photos that HAVE to be taken each year... Dog & Daffodils is one of them :) Haha, Flynn's looking rather serious here because he was concentrating incredibly hard on being a Good Boy. What he really wanted to be doing was springing about & barking his head off, but he knew he was supposed to be staying still. Flynn wanted to be barking because he'd just his... "frenemies" barking somewhere nearby.
Flynn's friends/enemies are a pair of large & extremely loud German Shepherds. Whenever they see Flynn (or most other dogs!), they bark a LOT - at him & at each other. Flynn gets very wound up about these "scary" dogs barking at him, so he yells back. These days, if Flynn sees them 1st, he'll be the one to trigger the bark-fest. But it was the shepherds who started it, years ago! (Their owner & I have never managed to chat - we see each other, share a mutual laugh & eye roll at our idiot noisy dogs, wave & then one of us hauls our dog/s off to hide & let the other pass). For a long while, Flynn simply hated those shepherds... but now, I'm not so sure? Whenever we encounter them, it's nearly always on our way up to the woods, so Flynn strongly associates that particular pair of dogs distinctive barks, with the start of having a lovely fun run about! Flynn's definitely begun sounding less irate & more excited, when he hears or sees them.
Anyway, on this occasion, we were actually on our way home for once, when we heard echoing "ahh-woo-woo-woofs!" from the shepherds. I'd just stopped to take photos with the daffodils & when those 2 began yelling from down the road (out of sight), I sighed, assuming we'd have to abandon getting any pics because Flynn would be going too wild but he surprised me, by maintaining his stay. It was a clearly took an almighty struggle, but he kept his self control - & sat there, listening intently!!
So, I received my Friend or Foe gifset, featuring Poppy Parker and her frenemy Ginger Gilroy.
The giftset is called "Friend or Foe"...well I guess in my book they choose the later option...
I swear I did (not) receive them packed like this:)
While I was opening the box I heard yelling and screaming:

There seems to be a relationship of mutual tolerance between two endangered species, polar bears and Canadian Inuit dogs (Qimmiq) on the shores of Hudson Bay, east of Churchill, MB. The Qimmiq dog colony is dedicated to the preservation of these working dogs. The area is frequented by polar bears, who sometimes wander through the colony as they wait for freeze-up go out on the bay to hunt seals.

Sorry for my inactivity on Flickr I have been traveling among with other things but, here is my latest DC Figures all of which alter ego's are "Friends" or "Family" of the heroes on the shows.

Rupture-haven't seen anyone do him before and he is probably the simplest of the bunch (but also my favorite) since he is basically Darth Revan just with hair & a scythe. Funny enough, the staff was the hardest thing to make of all these guys with available parts and a design with enough detail to suit my liking
Vigilante-people have done him before but not used these parts, not crazy about him but I am planning on getting a better helmet in a couple months at PBF. He is also sporting some BrickWarriors guns
Dr. Alchemy-least favorite of the bunch but it definitely works well enough, and btw the stud is supposed to be the Philosopher's stone
