An unplanned post.
"At least 10 people were killed and 30 injured when a driver rammed a pickup truck into a crowd during New Year’s celebrations on Bourbon Street in New Orleans early on Wednesday morning. A law enforcement official told CNN the suspect is dead."
This is being treated as an act of terrorism by the FBI.
My heart goes out to ma ville.
My friends, so far, are safe.
Their grilled cheese sandwiches and fries were pretty darn good, too.
French Quarter
New Orleans
2015
We flew to New Orleans late Christmas day for five days. These scarves were at the French Market. The next picture is a typical French Quarter house/store with a Honda Element in front (like mine only mine is "shoreline mist' in color), then Tony diving into the jaws of danger, and a street busker. A great time was had by all and I will be uploading more and catching up.
over bush street - french quarter / financial district / chinatown gate, san francisco, california. 3 stitched images.
I took this photo early on a Sunday morning while walking around the French Quarter. It was the day after the Red Dress Run and the quarter was still littered with trash and an occasional walker. I saw this balcony and was intrigued at the sight. The napkins from dinner were left as was a nearly empty glass of beer. A snapshot of a moment in time.
