Texture of galvanized steel sheet

I worked on more macros and I got some success in focus yesterday! I put the camera in closeup mode and pasm setting, then I used a 5x magnifier like jeweler's use on the end of my lens and then I put the camera on a small tabletop tripod. Then I got right on top of the subject, like 6-10 mm away. Natural sunlight. I was thrilled!

This entire pic is the feather, the micro feather is loose and ready to fall.
