This was a custom order made with Heather Bailey's Freshcut fabrics and one print of Amy Butler's fabric.
A couple of musicians playing on a street corner near one of the downtown markets. The little girl was fascinated by them. I was too. They were REALLY good!
Now can someone tell me how you take care of dreadlocks? And what do you do when you finally decide you no longer want them? :-))

Finished a month ago, uploaded today! I loved working on this quilt, although the paper-piecing was often pretty exhausting. But it was totally great to see how much fun traditional quilt blocks can be!
Oh, and I messed up the star block on the bottom right because I thought I could draft my own triangle instead of printing out the template...and then I misinterpreted the instructions...and was too lazy to do it over. That's why it's in the corner!

okay partner...I think I've got your number, but just in case... You might be one of the few (gasp!) people who don't like FMF. I've matched it to some Kona Solids and a cute print from Cosmo Cricket.
Don't worry if you don't like it because I'll be sure to put these fabrics to good use here in my house ;)
Finished piecing earlier this week. Backing fabrics are on the way and I can't wait to get started quilting!
