Aurora (polar lights) seen from Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Since I didn't have a tripod at hand, I took these shots freehand at a high ISO with an exposure time of 1 second, supported by the roof of a car.

listen: Gone With The Wind
Gone with the wind
Just like a leaf that has blown away
Gone with the wind
My romance has flown away
Yesterday's kisses are still on my lips
I've had a lifetime of heaven at my fingertips
But now all is gone
Gone is the rapture that filled my heart
Gone with the wind
My romance has flown apart
Just like a flame, love burned brightly
Then became an empty smoke ring
That has gone, gone with the wind
Gone, gone, gone with the wind
Just like a leaf that has blown away
Gone with the wind
My romance has flown away
Yesterday's kisses are still, still on my lips
I've had a lifetime of heaven at my fingertips
But now all is gone
Gone is the rapture that fills my heart
Gone with the wind
My romance has flown apart
Just like a flame, love burned brightly
Then became an empty smoke ring
That has gone with the wind.......
Description
Spring in the undergrowth behind my home is a real delight.
In April it's the wild hyacinths that captivate us with their fragrance and cover the forest in a magnificent purple color.
I'd just bought the vintage lens and couldn't wait to test it on these magnificent flowers.
For this composition, I used the Trioplan 100mm f2.8 lens at full aperture, which allowed me to obtain the particular soap bubble-like bokeh, and thus reinforce the fairytale atmosphere of this scene.
The challenge of this shot was the strong luminosity, with the sun already high in the sky.
So, I chose my angle of view carefully.
I also opted for a vertical format, which was better able to capture the delicate, slender flowers.
Story
The wood hyacinth (Hyacinthoides non-scripta syn.Scilla non scripta, Scilla nutans, Endymion non-scripta, Endymion nutans), also known as wild hyacinth, is a bulbous perennial that grows spontaneously in deciduous woods in France and Western Europe.
Every spring, its magnificent purple carpet grows ever wider, creating a magical atmosphere in the forest and plunging us into another world, that of fairy tales.

Now that we're up at the Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest, let's take a look at a very impressive building that's only a hundred meters away from where I took yesterday's picture.
Here we are in the overwhelmingly beautiful Matthias Church, the royal church of the Hungarian monarchy. The coronation ceremonies of some Hungarian rulers took place here. Among others, those of Charles the 4th, the last king of Hungary (1916) and Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie von Wittelsbach are certainly better known to many as the Empress Sissi (1867).
The first king of Hungary (Stephen the First) had a church built on this site in 1038, which of course was constantly expanded and rebuilt over the past 1200 years and was once almost completely destroyed and rebuilt.
This house has a very eventful history that is worth exploring before entering these hallowed halls. It feels completely different standing here (at least for me).
By the way, what you see here is a 180 degree panorama that I took freehand because tripods are not allowed in here.

.... sang einst schon Freddy Quinn. Freihand.
Boy, come back soon.....
....Freddy Quinn once sang. Now, thank God, such a Hapag "iron" comes into contact here every few minutes. However, this also causes the ponton to rock quite a bit, which makes a longer exposure time impossible. Therefore a pano made up of 4 individual shots. Freehand.
Chinese and Korean Buffet restaurant, late night, very rough freehand shot walking home from cinema.

All from reference, done with Microns and I think something else but I don’t remember what it’s called at the moment. :P
Whenever I come back on after a long break I say I’m gonna try to stay active, and this time is no different, except that I have a bunch of photos that are in line waiting to be uploaded. I’ll try and space them out. (;
Capturing images that are other worldly are always amazing and fun to try and capture without a tripod... a midday shot of the moon, blue sky... just me and my camera, freehand maxed out on the zoom... so fun!
