This image was captured for the Macro Mondays theme: "intentional blur", but was not submitted on the day - because I incorrectly predicted that lots of others would do falling feathers too! So I submitted an alternative shot.
I quite like the image, so now I'm just putting it out there. (PS: the blur in this image is captured in-camera, not through post-processing. My post-processing skills aren't that good!)

The Roulettes were flying for the Royal Hobart Regatta again today. This plane (there are six total) went solo from the main group and did this stunt, where it flew vertically, then cut the engine and just 'fell'. It tumbled and turned for a while before firing up the engine and speeding straight down before pulling out of the turn hard.
For a moment you wonder if it's a stunt, or whether i'm photographing a horrible aerial accident. It was obviously well choreographed though as we saw this stunt a few times over the weekend.
You say you're too busy saving everybody else to save yourself and you don't want no help, oh well..
