I was so excited to see the house, I was like jumping out of my skin the whole walk down from the visitor center. As lovely as the house is on the outside, it is equally beautiful, serene, and light-filled on the inside-- one of those spaces that calls you to just Be. And then when you're done just Being, it urges you to pull up a chair (itself, a piece of art) to a desk situated under bars of sunshine streaming through the skylight, the frameless windows flung open beside you, letting the trees almost reach inside and touch you, with the sounds of cascading water below, and create something joy-full.
