What a fragile moment in life this is. Never again will the patterns in the sand be quite the same, the hues and colours of the sky identical, the clouds exactly as they are now. This moment is unique. As is your moment, in the here and now, experienced only by you, in the infinite richness of this universe.
If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
It is very similar to "When It Rains.." farm3.static.flickr.com/2192/2224536422_a666cf850c_b.jpg
but I couldn't find anything quite good as this that fits the lyrics ~

Fragile Forktail
Ischnura posita
A posing damselfly from the Green Bottom Wildlife Management Area in lovely West Virginia.
This icy structure appeared so incredibly fragile, holding firm against gravity, wind, and temperature.
It snowed almost 3 inches overnight. I took a camera outside midmorning to what remained after the sun had its way for a couple hours.
"For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are" - Sting

Happy Soundtrack Monday!
I'm sorry, this was identified as a Citrine Forktail - Ischnura hastata but I believe it is actually a Fragile Forktail (Ischnura posita) having some lunch...yumm?
Shame that Rich didn't read what it said on the box for our rather large subwoofer before dropping it on the amplifier. Luckily both survived, if a little dented.

Didn't find my place anymore in the city, so i went in the woods to find something i lost in the urban society where a lot of us interact.
