🇫🇷 La vallée de Devrent n'est pas habitée depuis des siècles. (Pas d'églises rupestres ou de chapelles, mais un paysage géologique inhabituel, avec des rochers qui prennent la forme d'animaux, suggérant quelque chose d'aussi farfelu que l'entrée dans un zoo.

🇫🇷 La cathédrale catholique Saint - Jean - Baptiste de Fira , a été construite au XVIIe siècle par les jésuites de l'ordre apostolique. Ces missionnaires avaient pour mission de propager le catholicisme sur l'île.
Lors du grand tremblement de terre de 1956 ,le toit s'est effondré et l'église a nécessité d'énormes travaux de reconstruction et de rénovation qui se sont poursuivis jusqu'en 1970. Pendant ce temps, l'église de l'Immaculée Conception de la Sainte Vierge servait de cathédrale. L'architecture de la cathédrale est de style baroque. Cette cathédrale possède une façade couleur pêche, rehaussée d'éléments bleus. Le bâtiment possède un haut clocher, qui fait également office de tour d'horloge.
🇬🇧 The Catholic Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Fira was built in the 17th century by the Jesuits of the Apostolic Order. The mission of these missionaries was to spread Catholicism on the island.
During the great earthquake of 1956, the roof collapsed and the church required extensive rebuilding and renovation work, which lasted until 1970. During this time, the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin served as the cathedral. The architecture of the cathedral is in the Baroque style. The cathedral has a peach-coloured façade with blue accents. The building has a tall bell tower, which also serves as a clock tower.
🇬🇷 Ο καθολικός καθεδρικός ναός του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή στα Φηρά χτίστηκε τον 17ο αιώνα από τους Ιησουίτες του Αποστολικού Τάγματος. Η αποστολή αυτών των ιεραποστόλων ήταν να διαδώσουν τον καθολικισμό στο νησί.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του μεγάλου σεισμού του 1956, η οροφή κατέρρευσε και η εκκλησία χρειάστηκε τεράστιες εργασίες ανοικοδόμησης και ανακαίνισης, οι οποίες συνεχίστηκαν μέχρι το 1970. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου, η εκκλησία της Άμωμης Σύλληψης της Υπεραγίας Θεοτόκου χρησίμευσε ως καθεδρικός ναός. Η αρχιτεκτονική του καθεδρικού ναού είναι σε μπαρόκ ρυθμό. Ο καθεδρικός ναός έχει πρόσοψη σε ροδακινί χρώμα με μπλε πινελιές. Το κτίριο διαθέτει ένα ψηλό καμπαναριό, το οποίο χρησιμεύει επίσης ως πύργος ρολογιού.

Während des großen Erdbebens von 1956 stürzte das Dach ein und die Kirche musste bis 1970 umfassend renoviert und wieder aufgebaut werden. Während dieser Zeit diente die Kirche der Unbefleckten Empfängnis der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria als Kathedrale. Die Architektur der Kathedrale ist im Barockstil gehalten. Die Fassade der Kathedrale ist pfirsichfarben mit blauen Elementen. Das Gebäude hat einen hohen Glockenturm, der auch als Uhrenturm dient.

Colpita dal grande terremoto del 1956, la chiesa necessitò di ingenti lavori di ricostruzione e ristrutturazione, che proseguirono fino al 1970. Durante questo periodo, la chiesa dell'Immacolata Concezione della Beata Vergine fungeva da cattedrale. L'edificio ha un'architettura in stile barocco. La facciata, di colore pesca con accenti blu, è caratterizzata da un rosone. L'edificio vanta un alto campanile, che funge anche da torre dell'orologio.

A causa del gran terremoto de 1956, el tejado se derrumbó y la iglesia necesitó una gran obra de reconstrucción y renovación que se prolongó hasta 1970. Durante este tiempo, la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Santísima Virgen hizo las veces de catedral. La catedral es de estilo barroco. La fachada es de color melocotón con toques azules. El edificio tiene un alto campanario que también hace las veces de torre del reloj.

50631 Vénissieux - Strasbourg Port du Rhin
Suite à des travaux sur la L1 entre Toul et Nancy, l'horaire du Naviland 50631 Vénissieux - Strasbourg a été très nettement retardé pendant quelques semaines au début de l'automne 2021. Ce train circule habituellement en fin de nuit dans ce sens, et donc infaisable même en été.
Ce 25 Septembre, l'entorse à la grasse matinée valait le coup, puisque c'est la BB22275 qui assurait le 50361, à ma grande surprise !

Die Bahnstrecke von Touluse nach Cahors - Brive la Gaillarde - Limoges führt durch die westlichen Ausläufer des Zentralmassivs. Um in der hügeligen Landschaft eine vernünftige Streckenführung zu ermöglichen hat man etliche grössere Viadukte errichtet.
Der Zug fährt von Cahors kommend nach Paris und somit nordwärts. Er befindet sich gerade auf dem 573m langen "Viaduc de Lamothe". Im Hintergrund ist das 571m lange " Viaduc de la Borrèze" zu sehen.

Praktisch jede Stunde verbindet Eurostar die Französische Hauptstadt mit der Britischen Insel bzw. London.
Dafür werden, ab Paris, vor allem die Velaros E320 eingesetzt. Zwei Halbzüge mit jeweils eigener Nummer bilden eine knapp 400m lange Garnitur.
Die Halbzüge 027 + 028 haben anlässlich der Sommerspiele 2024 in Paris einen "goldenen Kopf" erhalten, wo auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Eurostar hingewiesen wird.
Diese Einheit ist vor etwa 90min in Paris gestartet und wird in weniger als einer Minute in den Eurotunnel bei Calais eintauchen.
Das Gleis links ist die Ausfädelung aus der Neubaustrecke nach Calais, welche von einigen TGV Zügen genutzt wird - die dann nicht in den Tunnel fahren. Nur von TGV Zügen, aber nicht nur von TGV's - es gibt auch TER Leistungen von Calais nach Lille über die NBS - aber auch mit TGV Garnituren. Das dürfte in Frankreich auch relativ einmlaig sein?

Nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst der Fernverkehr auf der Verkehr auf der Strecke durch das Zentralmassiv in Frankreich. Hier ist bei Chapeauroux der "Cévenol" auf dem Weg nach Norden. Schon damals war es der letzte lokbespannte Personenzug auf der Strecke .
