The Wartburg 311 was a car produced by East German car manufacturer VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach from 1956 to 1965. The 311 model was manufactured in a number of variations, including pickup, sedan, limousine, coupe, and as a two-seater roadster. The engine was enlarged to 991cc in 1962.

Powered by a 991cc 3 cylinder two stroke engine of 45bhp driving the front wheels and mated to a four speed gearbox

The basic architecture of the pre-war design, acquired from Zwickau-based Auto Union, was retained, albeit with the chassis lengthened by 10 cm, which combined with long overhangs to create a larger car with a relatively spacious four-door sedan/saloon body. The use of a separate chassis facilitated the adaptation of the car to a range of differing body shapes. On the other hand, the use of a separate chassis with the frame rails running under the passenger compartment's floor at a time when elsewhere in Europe were increasingly standardizing on self-supporting car bodies, left the Wartburg approach looking increasingly dated, and also added to the car's height, bucking the trend of the fashionable low sleek look

Exports of the Wartburg 311 to West Germany beginning in 1958, and by the early 1960s the car was exported to many other countries, including the United Kingdom and United States. In all, 737 right-hand-drive 311s were built from 1961 until 1964

Looks to be a really tidy example that's been well kept. Showing 121k as of last April and it's clearly worn those miles well; keeping the original wheel trims. These Classic spec examples were seriously spartan; not including electric windows and central locking. Current owner since March 2010.

Designed by Grant Lawson from 2001 the Porsche 997 version of the 911 was introduced in 2004 as a 2005 model year car. The 997 was an evolution of the preceding 996, with the most significant changes being interior and exterior styling, the most notable being the replacement of the "fried egg" headlamps used on the 996 with the classic "bug eye" units. Larger 18-inch wheels were fitted as standard, and other engineering changes include slightly increased power; however, the car is technically very similar to its predecessor. A new S version was offered, with additional power from a slightly larger engine, sports suspension, and sports exhaust.

For the first time, development of the cabriolet version of the 997 led the design and engineering effort at Porsche with the coupé following. Porsche applied the logic that if you started with the more difficult cabriolet challenges (for chassis stiffness) the coupé version would simply be more rigid. The base Carrera has essentially the same 3,596 cc (3.596 L; 219.4 cu in) flat-6 (Boxer) engine from 996 Carrera. The Carrera S however uses a new 3,824 cc (3.824 L; 233.4 cu in) flat-6 engine.

The 997 was subject to a mid-cycle refresh in 2008 for the 2009 model year with cars now referred to as Phase II and the older 997 referred to in retro as the Phase 1. The updated model range was unveiled at the Paris Auto Show in September 2008. Changes included a redesigned engine with direct fuel injection, mounted a little lower, revised suspension, revised front bumper and air intakes, headlamps with LED daytime running lights and optional dual HID projectors, revised rear bumper, tail lights while AWD models include a reflective stripe between the tail lights, new mirrors, redesigned Sports Exhaust Production of the refreshed model began in late 2008. Initially available models included coupé and cabriolet versions of the Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S and Carrera 4S

I have been working on orbit for about two months, and we currently have a fleet of 14 vehicles on the road. A further eight are due to enter service on new routes by July 1st.

Our Green Line routes consist of service 514 and 515. 514 operates to Wroxham stopping at all stops through Sprowston until Tesco, then operating non-stop to the centre of Wroxham. 515 operates via Dussindale and Rackheath.

Together, the Green Line has a PVR of 5. We have a fleet of five MCV Evolution bodied MAN 14.220s, two of which are dual door, to operate the routes.

110 is a single door example with 515 branding.

There was once again a nice selection of coaches, buses and minibuses at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, when I made my annual visit on Gold Cup Day. One such vehicle was YD73 FPY, a Yutong GT12 coach new to Nova Bussing, Rye, East Sussex in November 2023.
