Such a wonderful celebration we had

A very happy fourth to my fellow Americans.

Whatever else the Supreme Court may do, it cannot take away our right to celebrate our country’s beginnings. At least until the next election.

This is how we spent our 4th of July: cotton in the ears and popcorn in the mouth keeps a dog calm for 5 minutes.

At Parsons Field in Rye, NH for the Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Small town fireworks are the best! I felt like I was in a Norman Rockwell painting.

Hope everyone's fourth was safe and fun.

This year I used Bryan Hansel's directions on shooting fireworks; tripod, manual settings, f/8 and shutter speed on bulb....have never tried this before. I couldn't find my remote so just experimented in holding the shutter release button down with my finger.

Let me know how you shoot fireworks....I'd really like to know.
