Molly Hewitt's installation of sculptures and found objects on the Ray Yoshida shelves at the Roger Brown Study Collection.
Taken with available light (sun thru the window, flourescent overhead) to try and capture the burnished copper color. These were soot-black when I took them from their box. My Dad bought them in the '40s... I doubt that they'd been cleaned since.

This is my latest “art journal” I really get a hoot at that expression as I have said umpteen times I have been journaling since I was 12 and have every journal….a.nd they have certainly involved over the years and I must have at lest 10 types of different journals……but I do have to say it takes my love of altering books and makes them , well maybe not , but I love to alter books…and cut paper but I want to start sewing again…so anyway here is my latest art journal….and that is not to say that there are not others around that I write in all the time…..or paste photo’s and make little vingettess …..anyway I hope you enjoy…..they are real as it gets

I just love the brass castings joined to the polished brass cylinder body. Again, I've polished it even more. It's starting to look like a door handle on Trump tower.
