Someone brought parts of a mannequin to work and well I found it in a very "strange" position today.

Pele shrine with door closed...mixed media, acrylics, found objects.

one high heel, found washed up on the beach, Raritan Bay, South Amboy, NJ

look at this clever necklace and ring combo. it's an old nail wrapped in copper wire, beads added. how cute is that.

I found these bones on the edge of some woods in Willamette Valley, Oregon. I am embarrassed to say I don't know if they are animal or a good sized human. I placed the only reasonable measuring comparison thing I could find, and it was a Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Bar stick or handle. It is about 3 and 5/8th inches long. Should give some scale to the picture, and thus the size of the bones.

Ok, I called a Deputy Sheriff, and he drove out there and looked and said they are cow bones (specifically bull bones). There are some cows about a mile away, but not usually running around in the woods, and of course, not running anywhere at all when dead. LOL Delina

When I called, I said I hadn't called before because I didn't want anyone to laugh or to be wasting their time. He said he wouldn't laugh, and as far as wasting his time, that was what he was there for. I laughed, and queried, "You're there to waste your time?" Then we both laughed.

"The Plastic Botanist" series ...

Discarded artificial flowers and vase, both ready for the garbage ... thought I would try to give them a new life ... on film at least.

These plastic flowers are actually in a sorry state, tattered and dusty but it is amazing how they come back to life on film.

++++++++++++++

Walking up to Montmatre, ADDA came across several wild FOUND OBJECTS. The first was a BARE FOOT AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHER. She must of been out of her mind to walk the streets of Paris barefooted. I will NOT go into all the stuff that is dangerous and yucky on the streets, but there is a reason Paris cleans its streets & sidewalks two times a week...Even the salesclerk in the bakery tried to warn her of the danger. Nope, barefoot makes her more creative, she responded.

So, after that experience, I turned the corner to see her snapping away, and i bump into this perfectly good kids drum set, as well as many other kids toys. Apparently, a birthday boys stash which were tossed soon after the party was over. I'm sure there was a crying little boy somewhere in Paris. I hope he grows up to become a drummer for AEROSMITH.

Went to the swap meet and found some interesting bits and pieces.

My sister is a Nicki Minaj fan, so I made this doll as a gift for her.

Paperboat in the club.

When Prof. Erstwhile Entwhistle happened upon the wreckage of the Time Machine he was shocked at what he saw. Yes, the beautiful hand-etched brass ribbing was intact, even Lady Matilda Machination's gorgeous and ingenious control panel was present. Many other inspired and well-crafted items for journeying through space and time survived the crash. What puzzled him most however was the lack of human remains. Not a bone, scrap of cloth, hank of hair was present. A chill went up and down his back as all that he found were these time-traveler goggles. It is with much regret that he has entrusted me to put these up for sale with the proceeds earmarked for the repair of his precious mechanism. Let'em eat steam!

These are standard welding/brazing goggles that have been embellished with well-sealed faux gold leaf which was further enhanced with decals of decayed watch faces. The decals are protected with a coat of epoxy resin. Let'em eat steam!
