Guilty as charged!
Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.
Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.
Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.
In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.
Kids play and run.
Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.
Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.
People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.

Referendo sobre a independência da Catalunha em 2014.
À revelia da Constituição Nacional e do Tribunal Constitucional, o Presidente da Generalitat, Artur Mas (CiU, primeira força política na região), anunciou no dia 12 de Dezembro de 2013[1] , que convocará um referendo sobre a independência da Catalunha. Os partidos mais radicais da região manifestaram o seu apoio à decisão. ERC, Esquerda Republicana (segunda força política mais votada), ICV, Iniciativa pela Catalunha (quinta força política), UDC, União Democrática da Catalunha (parceiros de coligação da CiU), EUiA, Esquerda Unida e Alternativa, (parceiros políticos de coligação com ICV), CUP, Candidatura de Unidade Popular, (nona força política), são a favor da consulta. Os partidos PSC, Partido Socialista Catalão, ( terceira força politica mais votada), PPC Partido Popular Catalão (quarta força politica mais votada) e C´s, Ciutadans ( sexta força politica mais votada) estão contra este referendo. Os partidos favoráveis ao referendo somam 88 deputados dos 135 do Parlamento catalão. O referendo tem um formato binomial: "Quer que a Catalunha seja um Estado?"; "Se sim, quer que este Estado seja independente?".
Com a suspensão do Referendum por parte do tribunal constitucional, o governo nacionalista catalão convocou um processo de "participação popular".
Sem nenhuma garantia democrática real [2] e sem acesso ao censo, estima-se que a consulta não-oficial teve participação de menos de 34% da população apta a votar de acordo com as regras do referendum [3] , isto é, toda pessoa residente na Catalunha maior de dezesseis anos.
Catalunha (em catalão Catalunya; em castelhano Cataluña; em occitano Catalonha;) é uma comunidade autónoma da Espanha, situada a nordeste da península Ibérica. Ocupa um território de cerca de 32.000 km², limitada a norte pela França e por Andorra, a leste com o Mar Mediterrâneo, a sul com a Comunidade Valenciana e a oeste com Aragão. A capital da Catalunha é a cidade de Barcelona. A Catalunha é reconhecida como uma nacionalidade no seu Estatuto de Autonomia, enquanto o artigo segundo da Constituição Espanhola se refere a nacionalidade histórica, reconhecendo e garantindo o direito à sua autonomia.
