I love this shirt! I love the crazy looks I get from people who think I've spilled white paint down the side of my shirt. I love that only camera people recognize it for what it is. It's like a litmus test for dorkiness. Helps me find my peeps. Fo shizzle. yo.
My friend Michael and I took a day trip up to the Goat Trail near Hemmed-In-Hollow yesterday morning. The light hitting the valley was phenomenal and this is my humble attempt at trying to capture it!
The distant waterfalls on the further bluff are approximately 100ft and are frozen solid. I have a video which I will edit and put on my blog that shows these closer up, the one on the left has an icicle which is about 30ft tall. Amazing!
I will be making the blog post shortly over at my website.

so I've been at the hospital......my dad has a pacemaker and one of the wires in his heart got loose. So he had to have a new wire and pacemaker put in. He went for a regular check up on tuesday and they discovered it. So it was kinda out of the blue, but in a good way. dad had surgery yesterday and is doing well. should be home later this afternoon!
We saw Tom Brokaw at the hospital a couple times. At first we were like "Foshizzle!" ......we thought he might be there doing an expose on the hospital for Dateline NBC, but it turned out that his mom was in the hospital too. Whew!

Enjoy THAT video! Wooohoo! I did two diptychs for this today because I wasn't sure which looked better. I prefer this one, but I think the other goes better with the song ... anyway! I had fun taking some night shots around downtown. I think I'll post a couple street scenes too ... hmmm ... I think it works for FGR too ...
I have papers to grade though. My students are writing business letters to important people and I have to edit them. Some are writing to the Governator, some to Obama, some to the local school board. They are awesome. :D

Today, Barney got stuck in my head. That's why I drowned my brain in El Debarge songs and Earth, Wind and Fire. But, no effect. BARNEY WAS CRAZY GLUED TO MY BRAIN FOR MULTIPLE HOURS (up to now). It's really crazy. It was all because I wore my Barney fuzzy slippers again. I don't usually use them all the time, 'cause when I do, I sing Barney songs. That makes me a retard. Like a freaky whacko, retard. And it's scary, 'cause I walk around the house wearing those slippers and sing the songs from the show and even do the actions sometimes. BARNEY SYNDROME. FTW. Oh well. It doesn't have anything to do with the picture already. Actually, it doesn't have anything to do with the picture at all. I guess I'll stop now.

Day off!
woke up early to see Casey & Tomek before they left, ate pancakes.
Mum, Magnus & I got takeout from the deli and had a picnic on the beach. deeelightful.
Da's gone to teach an aikido semiar all weekend, he'll be back on Sunday night.
I'm sad. I'll miss him & I wish I was with him doing aikido instead of working.
Augh.
I want to wish my Peanut a very special happy birthday. This year he turns 9 years old.
He is such an amazing, caring little boy. He is talented, athletic, and sensitive. Peanut, much like my other boys, also is insanely smart. always with the 1001 questions (which truth be told sometimes I have to Google because I have no idea. And moms know EVERYTHING, right?!). He has definitely thrown me for a loop lately lol ... Well this year I've seen a "change" in him. Not bad, lol. He has developed this quirky, sarcastic, fun sense of humor. Always making me laugh. His HUGE heart always there and making me laugh and making me melt at a moment's notice, but there have been times he makes me laugh so hard I snort like a goofball.
I am so lucky to have him as my son, and couldn't have asked for a better bunch of boys than the ones that I have been blessed with.
I am proud to be his mother and of the young boy he is! He is my amazing dude! Happy Birthday P Nizzle!!!!! Mommy loves you soooo much!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love you a fillion (and yes it IS a real number ) #happybirthday#pnizzle#foshizzle#9yearsold @pnizzle0209

I'm going to try to be more active, because it feels like I haven't been on in forever. Like, foshizzle. It's been WAY too long. School is trying to kill me ohmykira. But anyway, standardized testing is over, spring break is coming up, and homework has been (Knock on wood) lighter than usual. Plus, I feel somewhat inspired! Yay for spring!
