Mr. Tucker owns a ranch out in Cody's Corner Florida and is one of the few remaining cattle ranchers in the area.
This was shot in the house where he grew up. The house has long been abandoned and he hadn't visited it in years.
freaky leprechaun guy?
or is that me excitedly taking my very first photo on the new 30D at work?
possibly both.

of summer rain (although i'm not really sure that it's summer here at all yet) just kills me. i love it so.
Despite that Dam, my translator, came with me to this stupa he was unable to answer a lot of questions.
This be it! After much wishing and dreaming, I decided that given the price difference and the fact that I didn't really *need* a Mac, I'd go with this Gateway. The plus is, it was half the price of the MacBook for the same portability, larger harddrive, and more RAM. The downside is that it has Vista... but so far it seems okay.
I'm crossing my fingers.
We name all of our computers after Star Wars vehicles... it just kind of happened and then we ran with it. This one's the Tie Interceptor II, after my previous laptop Interceptor, although I affectionately think of it as "The Space Cow." Er, because of Gateway and their cow-spotted boxes. And the whole Star Wars theme. Er... yeah.
Gallery opening at my work. I don't remember who the artist was. But I dunno. I found this picture I took while going editing a big batch of them all.
i bought some watercolor paper postcards; you draw or paint on them yourself then send them off. i've been writing a lot of letters since i came home.
I dont know what.
so, my boss hired me to take promo photos of my work, i dont think theyll like them at all, but these are my favourites of the set
on their way to my office.
I'm one of those mean bosses that does things like this. They're supposed to catch each other going above and beyond, write it on a heart and tape it to the person's cubicle.

* Findings of JNUSU's PF Camp : A Fact~heet on Massive Violations 13.1.14 Jun~u of Contract Workers' Rights.
RUGU .
Defe~t the JNU Administration -Contractor Nexus ! .
In the last two years, JNUSU has time and again drawn attention to the massive violations of the rights of the construction .
workers, security guards, gardeners, mess and sanitation workers on campus. Recently, JNUSU organized two successive PF camps on 20-21 December and 3-4January. Total791 contractual workers of the campus participated in two PF camps. Through checking of PF account and JNUSU's survey on workers' salary and other entiUements and workplace safety once again expose the blatant violations of workers' rights through JNU administration-contractor nexus. .
100% Anomaly in PF Accounts: PF accounts ofALL 791 workers participated in camps have discrepancies. In other words, 100% ofthe contractual workers' PF accounts showed different type of irregularities and anomalies. Among the workers, 42.8% don't even have E -Passbooks, either the PF no is fake or not a single paisa is deposited in the PF department! In case of sanitation workers from S.E Services, 78.4% workers don't have E-Passbooks. Where the construction workers under RITES are concerned, JNU's marvellous administration believes it is above the law of the land. In open defiance of all prevailing laws, no PF or ESI is being accounted for a SINGLE worker. In case of SIS security guards, the company has skilfully d1vided the salary into H.R.A and Basic Payment. and deposited PF on Basic Payment only, while the PF laws ask for deposition of PF amount based on the entire salary amount. .
Violation of Bonus Payments: JNUSU's collected data shows that the SIS security has not paid 99.6% security guards the full bonus amount On the other hand. there is no provision of bonus in the contract of the administration with companies like Vayudoot. GA Digital, Bedi & Bedi and Balaji! The double pay due for working on national holidays is not given to 95.8% workers, while 86.6% workers don't get legally mandated payment forworking on weekly holidays. Arbitrary deductions from workers' salary occurred in the name of "police verification" or "dress allowance" in the case of 93.7% security guards of SIS and 92.6% sanitation workers working under S.E Services. .
I .
Absence of Safety Kit for Sanitation Workers: JNUSU's survey shows the inhuman practice that 88.9% Sanitation workers of the campus who engage in garbage picking and other cleaning chores don't have masks or gloves to wear. These sanitation workers clean the toilets with their bare hands and without masks to guard against foul smell or infection. Due to lack of basic workplace safety. (shoes. gloves for sanitation workers and helmet. safety net for construction workers) several .
workers have faced fatal accidents-but 91 .5% workers among them didn't get any compensation either from the company or .
JNU administration. .
Denial of Mandated Rights of Migrant Workers: Among the total workers participated in JNUSU's camp, 75.5% are migrant labourer. But they do not have access to any facilities according to "Inter-state Migrant Workmen (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Act. 1979". .
Construction Workers under RITES-Bearing the Most Brazen Violations: The construction workers workmg under RITES are the most exploited. There is no salary slip provided: Identity Card. PF account, ESI card and even attendance register don't exist. Construction workers can be seen on any given day without basic safety equipments like helmet safety net, rope etc The pits dug in and around the construction site have no markings and instances of child labour have been also been noticed. Small children can be seen roaming around the construction site anytime during the day. There is no creche for the children of the construction workers. .
Permanent Irregularity for Regular Work: Among the contractual workers who participated in JNUSU's PF camp, 74.5% are working for more than 2 years in JNU while 10.8% are working for more than 10 years in the campus. But the JNU administration has shown blatant apathy in regularizing the contract workers. .
In view of such all-round violations of labour laws and exploitation of contract workers. it becomes imperative that we, as .
members of the university community expose the contractor-administration nexus, demand immediate course correction and .
accountability from the administration. Some immediate and basic steps in this direction would be: .
.
Conducting a proper audit of all wage related transactions involving contract workers in all areas. Particular attention must be paid to issues of non-payment or improper deduction of PF/ESI!bonus, absence ofsalary slips or faulty records of attendance, dubious deductions, delayed payments etc. .
.
.
Creation of a permanent Labour Welfare Office within the university with representation of workers, teachers. students' and staff union. This committee should be empowered to take action against faulting contractors and officials as well as ensure quick redressal of complaints and irregularities by the administration. .
.
.
Checking corruption in awarding contracts and ensuring strict compliance by the contractor of labour laws. Companies with earlier records of labour rights violations must be blacklisted. .
.
.
Providing basic amenities to all the workers including rest rooms. proper accommodation. clean drinking water, toilet-.
.
.
urinals, medical facilities and creche facility. JNU as a university must ensure not only the bare minimum of working rights and liv1ng wages, but the elimination ofcontractual labour and creating permanent posts so as to ensure job security and a fair wage for those who toil on this campus and .
beyond. What we require is a united struggle by workers, students, teachers and staff that will decide not only the future ofworkers in the campus but also the model of the university we give to ourselves. .
JNUSU has given a call tor a PROTEST MARCH of workers, students and faculty members demanding basic rights of the contractual workers and for regularization of contractual posts on 15u. January, Wednesday, 4 pm, from Chandrabhaga Hostel. We request student community and faculty members to participate in the March to intensify our fight for workers' rights .
in the campus. Akbar, Anubhuti Sandeep Saurav Sarfaraz, .
