Been after trying this for a while, as a lightning storm rolled over the Island from the mainland, we sat on the balcony over looking the sea waiting for the passing storm to come into view and head out to sea beyond us. Be easy on me, never tried this type of photography before but I was pleased with my amateur efforts catching the forks of lightning passing through the sky.
I didn't think I'd be able to do this one as my spoons didn't seem very reflective! However, I buffed them up and I was surprised at the difference - HSoS!

The tines of this fork are not glowing. They're just reflecting Heat. Well … the CD cover of "Heat".
"Heat" is an album published in 2003 by the very cool blues-punk-brass-so on-band Mardi Gras.bb. I used its CD cover as a reflector in order to get some colour into the picture. Light source: a 60W bulb.

Five forks lined up against a wall, and lit by a torch to give an interesting shadow.

CSXT 4711 south emerges from the south portal of Caney Fork Tunnel as they slow to hold back of Big Spraddle crossing for a meet with M692. The spur to McClure Lumber used to come off here to the right.
Playing, testing, experimenting with forks and shadows ... it's crazy!
It is very difficult to eat something with this! 😄

Fairly small fork-tailed hummingbird of lowlands. Males have an iridescent green head and breast and a violet belly, but in poor light appears evenly dark overall. Females are green above, light gray below. Note the slightly drooping bill on both sexes. One of the most common hummingbirds in lowland Amazonia; found in a variety of open forested habitats from young rainforest and forest edges to treefall gaps and gardens.
