They are wild, beautiful, adorable AND......they symbolize true love and remembrance. I just loved it how they were sticking out of the green !!
... they represent the immortal love we have for those who go before us.
Taken from our garden.
Have a beautiful and safe week everyone!💝
Thank you for your visits, kind comments, awards and faves. Always greatly appreciated.

Taken the same day as the Cherry blossom was spotted as I sat feeling unwell gazing out of my living room window. One short walk from my own front door along a roadside verge yielded up so many opportunities It felt exiting and unbelievable. It really was nothing but a bit of scrubland along the road yet these tiny flowers made it through what was more of a dog toilet tbh...Taken using a Sony A7R2 with a CZ Pancolar vintage lens wide open. The plane of view was extremely sharp but out of the wind I managed sharp focus where I desired it to keep this tiny gift under wraps and keep these forget me nots looking as precious as it felt that day to me...I feel a little better and took two short walks this week.
Thank you for your patience as I continue to catch up with comments :)

Hope you haven't forgotten about me :P. Apologies for beeing MIA this weekend. I've been so busy showing my mom and aunt around Cali. It was a lot of fun, we went to San Diego, Laguna, Santa Monica, and many other places! Need to catch up on work now.
The day lily, in the flower world, symbolizes forgetfulness, but the good kind.....forgetfulness of worries.
Tho I'm pretty sure that if I had only one day to live, I would spend most of it worrying.....

What others dreamed
Read, read, read, the soul forgets
the things that happened
Those that remain remain, the fictions,
feather flowers,
the solitary, human creations,
the dregs of the foam.
Read, read, read; will i be reading
tomorrow me too?
Will I be my creator, my creature,
I will be what happened?

Once planted by my grandpa, they still blossom every year since he died seven years ago. They always remind me of how much he loved nature and how he used to take me to his little garden.

This is a photograph for the group Smile On Saturday. The theme for today is ‘blue as the main colour’. It’s to remember the ME/CFC and Fibromyalgia International Awareness Day on 12th May. We lost a much loved family member to ME/ CFS some years ago. We will never forget him. Hugs to my sister, who will read this. Hugs across the internet to Maria and to everyone living with this disease, and their families. Forget-me-nots in the rain this morning.
Forget-me-not flowers and a silver thimble that has been passed down to me through the ladies in my family, originally from my Great Grandmother.
In Englands Victorian times, silver thimbles were often gifted from a gentleman to his sweetheart which would be worn around the waist in a small pouch attached to a chain. The pouch would also contain a small pair of scissors and a needle case.
And I haven't forgotten her. I finally found it. The "don't forget me".
At the weekend I escaped the city and was in nature.
Such a dainty little plant. It's not that easy to find you and get a nice shot when the wind is blowing. Now I have a picture of her too.
