A few years ago on a hike at the fog line in the Hunsrück forest. For well over an hour I was able to capture new impressions of this light spectacle between fog and sun.
Vor einigen Jahren auf einer Wanderung an der Nebelgrenze im Hunsrückwald. Weit über eine Stunde konnte ich immer wieder neue Impressionen dieses Lichtspektakels zwischen Nebel und Sonne im Bild festhalten.

Yesterday morning between sun and fog on a forest path not far from home.
There was thick fog in the valley, and bright sunshine above the treetops. The fog density changed from minute to minute, so it was worth simply waiting in place for a while until opportunities like the one in the picture above arise.
Gestern Morgen zwischen Sonne und Nebel auf einem Waldweg nicht weit von zu Hause.
Im Tal war dichter Nebel und über den Baumwipfeln strahlender Sonnenschein. Von Minute zu Minute änderte sich die Nebeldichte, so dass es sich lohnt, einfach eine zeitlang an Ort und Stelle zu warten, bis sich Gelegenheiten wie oben im Bild ergeben.

It has been a year of learning to enjoy less time on the road looking for new views while learning to see the same familiar paths with a different perspective each time we hike. This part of the Bruce Trail shows the promise of spring leaves ready to burst forth with the next warm days ahead. We can walk to this spot in about half an hour from our house. Then we just wander and wonder in the woods for an hour. Have a tree-mendous Tuesday!
