Agasthyavanam Biological Park, a protected area in the Western Ghats, an area of 31 square kilometers, the park lies between the Neyyar and Peppara Wildlife Sanctuaries, established in 1997. Its name derives from the famous Agastimalai Agasthyakoodam Peak, which is visible at a distance from the park. Kottur Reserve forest is included in the Agasthyavanam Biological Park.
Location: Kottur Reserve Forest (part of Agasthyavanam Biological Park), Kottoor Section, Kottoor (Kottur), Kuttichal, Kattakada, Thriuvananthapuram District, Kerala State, India.
We spent a bit over a week exploring southern France. From Lyon, to the Alps, then through Provence before wrapping up in the Ardeche.

This is a bridle path, one of many such skirting through Mahabaleshwar.
Most of these were developed by the British as actual pathways for horse and carriage. Today with the advent of tar roads, these paths are used mostly by villagers as short cuts or by nature lovers who enjoy walking through forests.
Regrettably, locals and tourists also use these trails as boozing spots, leaving behind broken alcohol bottles and plastic picnic rubbish.

Last little hike of the summer and probably of the year. I had planned another route but on this beautiful sunny day, there were a lot of cars parked where I wanted to be. Hoping that this nature bath will invigorate my spirits a little.
Dernière petite randonnée de l'été et sûrement de l'année. J'avais prévu un autre parcours mais en cette belle journée ensoleillée, il y avait énormément de voitures garées où je voulais me mettre.
En espérant que ce bain de nature me revigore un peu le moral.
