THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FAVES
ON THE REACTIONS I WILL TRY TO RESPOND BACK
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last week it was already good to see that autumn is coming to an end
The forest breathes. Listen.
It answers.
I have made this place around you. Stand still.
The forest knows where you are.
You must let it find you.

Last week in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park on the summit of the Erbeskopf...a dream of snow and sun.
While most of the snow that had fallen 3 days earlier had already melted in the valleys, it was still almost 30 cm at 800 meters above sea level.
This old oak is called "Julius-Eiche". It was once considered a natural monument. Its specialty is that it grows next to a clearing and has all its branches stretched out towards the light. Even so, it is still strong and firm. Unfortunately, this forest is currently heavily managed and I hope that it will be able to stay alive for a long time to come.
